I can't wait to continue my play-through of Final Fantasy 16! I feel like I'm 60% through? It's been a great experience so far. Not a perfect game, but the best parts of the game make up for the worst parts. Other than that, not sure if I'll play anything else this weekend. Next big release for me is Baldur's Gate 3 next month. How about you, SW? What are you playing this weekend?
No idea. Bought FF7R on my PC as I had a credit in the sale. Played a little, and the 120hz/gsync is really nice. Also just beat Sackboy, which was an enjoyable romp.

Enjoyed Sackboy as well. Thought you already played FF7R?
@SolidGame_basic: Yep, bought the OG and Intergrade on PS5, and nothing in the Steam sale piqued my interest, so grabbed it on PC. The higher frames and ability to remove resolution scaling is great.
I bought 10 games during Steam Summer Sales and I have no damn idea what I wanna play first. Might start off playing Hi-Fi Rush or Hogwarts Legacy but I'm still waiting for my RTX 4070 to arrive before I start playing Hogwarts Legacy. So many games I've purchase, I'll have time to decide this weekend.
But for now, I'm still playing Star Wars: Jedi Survivor on my 4th play.
Yeah, even though I probably shouldn't lol. I like the story, but the combat is pretty shallow and repetitive. With that said, I'm still having fun repeating the same strings. I really like the Eikon battles too; the one against Typhon felt reminiscent of Shadow's boss battles in Sonic Adventure 2.

Yea I haven’t seen anything like the Eikon battles anywhere else
Just got the Platinum on FF16 so now I'm working my way through the pixel remaster. Finished FF1 and now almost done with FF2. I plan to start FF3 this weekend 🙌🏽
I mentioned before that I was unlikely to buy Street Fighter 6 at launch, and the reason I said that was simple: Steam Sale. I just did not expect to have any budget left for it. That, however, changed when the sale turned out to be a dud for me: everything on my wishlist was either not on sale, still too expensive, or I'm not in the mood for. Suddenly my budget was freed up, and I was going to buy SF6 after the sale ends.
That plan then also changed when I experimentally added the game to my cart, and saw that, unusually for a game that's not on sale, it would earn me some trading cards. No big deal, just a little extra for something I was going to buy anyway. At which point, I threw in some Age of Empires III DE DLCs to get one more card as cheaply as possible, and checked out.
Don't expect to see me online, though. I skipped SFV, which means my massive layers of rust would make people mistake me for a Bloater from The Last of Us. I'm instead going to be busy diving into the World Tour mode, and that's enough for me.
D4. I am so done playing the game on Word Tier 2, its the easier game i've played, possibly ever. Decided to just rush the story, skip everything, and just unlock WT4.
Gating higher difficulties in D4 is the dumbest shit i've encountered in a game in many years.
bought underrail, partisans 1941 and weird west from the steam sale so might try one of them, or go rooting in the ps4 collection and see if there's anything in there ive not played for ages that i fancy. not picked up any of the big games that have dropped lately so feeling a bit out of the loop
Cereza and the Lost Demon. I'm about 75% done now. Fun game. I dont think i would have paid the original 60 Gamestop were looking for. But i got it for new for 30 bucks and at that price i'm definitely getting my moneys worth. I have Beyonetta 3 to get started on the switch once that's done.
Horizon Zero Dawn. Looking to finish this too and start into the expansion. Good game overall.
Baldurs Gate 2 has been set aside for a bit. Don't know when i'll get back to it.
Exoprimal is a hell of a lot of fun. Has a big arcade look and feel to it. Like a big cabinet premium arcade game. An insane amount of dinosaurs getting thrown around onscreen at any given time.

Definitely enjoyed the visuals on PC. The main characters still look like some of the best that UE 4 has to offer. I do remember installing a mod to make NPCs look better; Believe it was this one:
I just started playing this little game "Going Under" , which I had bought some time ago on sale. Really enjoying the humour and challenging combat.
Also started on Hollow Knight, which received excellent reviews, but so far I am not too excited about the game. Nice graphics and music but also very repetive.
I might complete Far Cry 6 this weekend. I have spent at least 100 hours so far doing the vast majority of the side missions, but it is time to say goodbye soon to this game.
