What are you playing this weekend, SW?

I just beat Spider-Man 2 and it was great. Have some remaining side activities to do. Will also play some Super Mario Wonder, and I just purchased Star Ocean Second Story R! Very much looking forward to that. Also want to get Alan Wake 2, but maybe I'll wait for Black Friday deals. How about you, SW? What are you playing?

After finishing Starfield and then Jusant I ditched Gamepass for the time being and switched to … 🙈Ubisoft + 🙈. So now I’m playing AC: Mirage. Will move on to FarCry 6 after that and then Avatar. Probably cancel subscription after that.

Finished SM2 and Mario, and really tempted to pick up Star Ocean. It's either that, or my backlog of books.

Playing both the original and remake of Resident Evil 2 :)

Trying to juggle Alan Wake 2 and Robocop Rogue City, they're both awesome.

Jusant and whatever is of interest on Gamepass.

The last good game I played was Fire Emblem TH.

Now the only game I've been playing is Diablo 4.

Currently 10hrs into Horizon Zero Dawn, and to be honest, it's starting to get repetitive, I'm gonna try and persevere to at least finish the campaign, wish me luck.

If I can't I might start Shenmue 3.

On a side note, the PS4's UI and lack of features is archaic af. Everything is a mess, whoever designed it should be relieved of their position.

Amazon's sold out of Star Ocean SSR, which is ridiculous. Might have to swing by Best Buy. Aside from that, gotta finish up Propagation, which is pretty top notch VR, as it turns out. Probably chip away at my blizzard sorceress build in D2R as well.

Vacation Simulator, I love it so far. 2 hours into and played the beach environment so far. It is like really being on vacation.

Put a dent into Ghost of Tsushima.

I love what Square Enix is doing with the pixel art style. If you haven’t played Octopath Traveler 2, they did a great job there too. Never played the original Star Ocean 2, so I’m excited!

Haven't even finished the original Octopath, but that's on me and not the game. If they do a solid job of transcribing the story, you're all good.

I've been really enjoying Horizon Zero Dawn lately! The graphics are stunning and the story has me hooked. Can't wait to see where it goes next. Thinking about picking up the DLC too.

@The_Deepblue: ages was my first Zelda game. Really liked it as a kid, I played OoT and MM soon after, then link to the past and awakaning after. But ages was the game that got me into the franchise. Really like that game.

@sargentd: It’s a great game, even if the Jabu-Jabu’s Belly dungeon (completed it today) was a nightmare! I’ll probably play Oracle of Seasons right after Oracle of Ages, as it’s also one of the few Zelda games that I have never played.

@jamessmith0901: I have to disagree on the graphics, don't get me wrong as I'm not saying it looks bad, but it's rough around the edges. As for the story, well I have skipped all the cutscenes, and the gameplay loop is getting repetitive.

Platinum SM2 last night and finished Sea of Stars. So gonna Start Resident Evil 4 Remake and FarCry 6 later

isn't it sad how HZD, a last gen game, made for last gen hardware, looks significantly better than Infinite, way better animated and has a bunch more biomes. Its sad.

Decided to download Gotham Knights since it's on PS Extra. Its aight. Nothing special so far. It looks nice I guess.

This weekend, its more Alan Wake 2 for me as that game really is proceeding my expectations. And following that, I'm replaying Returnal PC as that game never gets old and finally more on Justant, a very good awesome Indie game.

As you know, I adore HZD when it came out but yeah, it didn't age well on PS4 but it does however look good if you play it on PC that is. and what can I say, I'm excited for the sequel coming to PC early 2024. Repetitive? That's basically in every game, you'll be doing the same thing as that's a video is supposed to do.

As for being repetitive, yes all games get repetitive sooner or later, but i'm only 10hrs in, and i'm starting to feel that way, and I have only uncovered about a third of the map. I play a ton of open world games and have only a handful that i've felt this way only 10hrs in.

I will persevere.

Good to hear man, I just got done with Alan Wake 2 and it was the one game that was on my mind all the time.

Going to start red dead 2 on ps5 interesting to hear it has a 60fps mode.
