What are you playing this weekend, SW?

2023 has been a great year with so many games to play, it's getting hard to choose what to play first. I started playing Like a Dragon Gaiden via GamePass (thanks, Phil!) and I also want to check out Persona 5 Tactica and Super Mario RPG. Then there's Star Ocean Remake which I played a few hours of and hoping to continue. I also have been meaning to get back to Octopath Traveler 2. And finally, I've been playing Modern Warfare 3! Oh, and I just got the PlayStation Portal which seems to be working pretty well so far. How about you, SW? What are you playing this weekend?

Star Ocean. Been sick the last few days, so want to jump back into the game. My backlog's nonsense at this point.

The Talos Principle 1 stuck on two puzzles in c7 might skip them for awhile and go up the tower to floor 1.

Dead island 2,plan on finishing it just in time for Far cry Avatar.

I was hoping that Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin would turn out good, so I could buy and play that. Sadly, the reviews aren't encouraging. Oh well. Back to Total War: Warhammer III.

Frankly, I haven't been playing much games the last couple of weeks, aside from farming Dagath in Warframe. I've just been spending most of my spare time sleeping; literally been sleeping 8-12 hours a day for two weeks. I think I'm still feeling the after-effects of that mad rush to finish my Grendel Prime farm a couple of weeks back.

So yeah, I'll either be playing Total War: Warhammer III and Marvel's Spider-Man, or sleeping.

Star Ocean SS R. Game is a dream come true. Perfect remake.

Recently finished Alan Wake 2 which was an excellent game. Have returned to Armored Core VI. Looking forward to picking up Super Mario RPG Remake tomorrow and will probably check out some of that.

Because I don't have an Xbox, I actually have games to play so I'm playing the horizon burning shores dlc.

I am taking a break from gaming this weekend so, something on the PS5.

Super Mario RPG if I have the time.

I'll probably deep dive into the Pathfinder 2E Remastered Player Core and GM Core. My books delivered today.

Apparently I gotta play more Starfield to justify my recent purchases so I’m not a poser. Then some Mario Wonder and Fortnite. Forza too probably. And maybe some Madden before the Lions game on Sunday

More on Alan Wake 2, I'm still admiring the game itself and returning characters from the first Alan Wake game and as well as connection to Control is making me really investing my time with Alan Wake 2 on PC.

And I feel like replaying Metroid Prime Remastered so my Switch is getting some gaming time love🥰

Alan Wake 2, I started but then got distracted after RoboCop Rogue City came out, just couldn't stop playing that. Now I'm back on Alan Wake 2 making progress.

Testing out the PlayStation Portal. I was once confined to the gaming room. Now I get to annoy my girl all over the house.

The Portal works great. It actually feels good to hold,unlike the Steam Deck and Nintendo Switch. The screen is really sharp although OLED would have been better. Gameplay is really smooth. Gonna test out the connection using mobile hotspot tomorrow.

The last two weeks I have played another 30 hours or so of Red Dead II on my PC, now a total of 70 hours. Getting to play RDR2 in 4K/120 was one of the reasons I bought a 4090 PC. (I had 110 hours on PS4 back in 2018, and patentiely waited for a 60 fps patch...)

Started downloading loads of mods. the game is fucking gorgeous now.

I really missed kicking ass as Kiryu Kazama. Like a Dragon Gaiden is scratching that itch lol.

Mafia 2!

Still CP2077. I can get to the point of no return. But I still have a bunch of quests to do from the base game and phantom liberty. So will be playing that for a while yet.

After that it's finish Arkham City and Start into Spiderman and Miles M. That should get me to the end of the year comfortably to be honest (not long now. I keep forgetting we are in the tail end of Nov!).

hmmm hang out with Caberet girls or play Star Ocean lol jk.. Yea I’ll probably play some later. It was starting to get good, I had 3 party members and were learning different moves. What’s so good about the crafting?

It's less what's good about crafting and more me being obsessive lol. Though the variety of items to make and experiment with is a lot of fun if you're into that sort of thing.

Yakuza The Man who lost his name. I am a few hours in, and initial impressions are very positve.

Persona Tactica. Only played an hour so far, but the game seems promising.

Eastward. Just because it is leaving Gamepass soon. Seems okay, but there is way too much dialogue. I might uninstall it.

@SolidGame_basic: Dude I really want to go back to Armoured Core VI but my god is that game hard. This one boss killed me 60 times and I have rage quit ever since.

WoW. Emerald Dream is pretty fun, just about done with the zone.

Alien: Dark Descent. I think I'm close to the end. Pretty fun game but I've resorted to cheats to help me get through it a bit faster as the pace can be a bit sluggish.

Assassin's Creed: Mirage, it is surprisingly good. It has the best stealth gameplay in the series imo. Fun mechanics and fairly open levels. Good selection of tools with interesting upgrades. The focus ability is super overpowered, but allows you to have some fun 😁. Gameplay reminds me more of Dishonored than any AC has done before. You can be creative if you wish (if you just want to complete the levels you can play straighforwardly and win).

The setting is also interesting and well realized.

Mirage is a smaller title, but it delivers pretty much exactly what I had hoped for.
