What are your favourite menu themes?

From the little threads devoted to soundtracks we have here they usually center around your favourite piece and rarely do you see someone post a menu theme. I dont blame them though, because 90% of the time theres better stuff in the actual game. I still think menu music deserves some love so lets use this thread to post/talk about our favourites.

The options we have are title screens, option screens, pause screens and in-game menu screens. Remember, we're just focusing on the music and not the visual representation. Anyway here are my favourites:

Shenmue II - Notebook screen music -http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sBrVIVckj_M - I really loved Shenmue 1s notebook theme, alot. But the first thing i did when i hit the shores of Hong Kong was to see if that piece had made it into Shenmue II. What i found was better. I sat there for 10 minutes and listened before i played the game. That was the DC ver. The Xbox ver. might be different from what we got.

Super Metroid - Title screen music - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OyCS0E6jV2k&feature=related - Easily my favourite rendition of the Metroid theme. It used to scare me back as a kid and just listening to it now creeped me out. Its up there with Majoras Mask in terms of creepy/eerieness, which is no easy feat.

Banjo Kazooie - Pause screen music - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JGwRD7hMfPQ - This song is what i remember Rare by (even though i played alot of their games last gen. Like metroid, its my favourite rendition of the Banjo theme and like SHenmue, can have someone on the screen for a while.

What are yours?

I always had a fondness for the interactive MGS themes, like MGS3 comes to mind. :P

Great music, great interactive, great all around...however, for just straight up tunage, I would go with MGS2.

Still creeps me out 9 years later.

To be honest, I have a hard time remembering music within games unless they are really memorable, let alone specifically menu themes. Two memorable ones I can think of are the Halo start up/main menu theme because it's so iconic to the Halo series, especially Halo 2's version. Fable also has a pretty iconic menu theme, & it really suits the game. I know there are plenty more, especially Nintendo titles, but off the top of my head I can't think of any.

Metroid Primes and Xenoblades stand out the most for me.

Super Smash Bros. Melee/Brawl tournament music: When the bracket is up (if that counts).It's fitting and gets me excited for the next match.

Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald theme: Best version of the Pokemon theme.

Infamous PS3-start-up theme: Becase it has no menu music :P. I'm a big fan of string instruments, and this music is very...what's the word? Dark? Something like that.
