What are your most hyped games from the not-E3 season?

Here are a few that come to mind:

• Astro Bot: this game feels like the Sony of old. a game that focuses on having fun and not trying to tell us some cinematic story lol. It has been getting glowing reviews, so I'm hyped!
• Fable: although we haven't gotten much gameplay, the trailers have been interesting and PlayGround Games is a great developer. Excited to see what they do with this franchise!
• MGS / Silent Hill Remakes: loved the origins, so glad to see them come back in the modern era. Loving what I'm seeing so far!
• Metaphor Refantazio: I'm kind of JRPG'd out at the moment, having played FF7 Rebirth, Like a Dragon, and most recently, Paper Mario. But I'll be charging my batteries in time for this one!
• Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Collection: I'm glad this franchise is coming back in the form of a collection. Will be buying both Switch and PS4 copies lol. Hopefully we get a new one!

Gameplay gave me hope.

Perfect Dark, Fable, Gears just off the top. :P

Surprisingly, Assassin's Creed Shawdows.

Honestly the game looked amazing and I can imagine all the anti-woke closet racists seething

Doom: Dark ages. Was a bigger departure than I expected. Melee, being more of a tank, no glory kills, mechs and dragons. Can ID reinvent FPS again? I wanna know.

I thought Perfect Dark was kind of intersting. It also seems fairly innovative, but in a completely different direction.

Killer Bean looked like a fun indie 😅.

I also liked some of the things about new Assassin’s Creed. Like the smaller scale and stealth features like shadows.

Metroid, Dragon Quest 1-3 HD and Zelda, but the Gears trailer was so good it actually made me hype for the series for the first time since the Xbox 360 era, so it gets a special mention.

Fantasian, astro bot, and zelda is what I'm looking forward to.

There were a couple games inspired by Desert/Jungle Strike that sort of peaked my interest. I think one was Megacopter or something.

That new Zelda game looks awesome.

I'd love to see more fable. I really hope they nail it.

Path of Exile looked fun too.

I dunno... I feel like hype is hard to conjure these days. More of a "I'm hoping these games that look fun turn out well"

Maybe MGS3 remake, but I don't need it. I got the highest rank twice in 2005 and 2006 (subsistence). Not feeling compelled to do it again; I don't have as much free time to trial and error something I've done already.
