What Are Your Pre-Gaming Rituals?

I game so often, if I had pre-gaming rituals I... wait... I guess posting on GS is my pre-gaming ritual.

I tie a goat to my ceiling feet up. I recite the sacred words of the lord of creation, Amen Ra, and i stab the goat with a lions tooth exactly at the time the game releases.

Mine involves explicit sexual acts and illegal narcotics so I can't really go into detail here.

Wash hands. Don't want to muck up my controllers if I can do something to prevent it.

3. ????

4. Profit!!!

lift arm, slowly drop arm, press finger against power button, and walk towards the couch, then sit on it and observe the screen.

If its a brand new game, watch the introduction and all title screens. If its a big name release that I`ve been waiting for awhile(like with Stronghold 3) then I grab a pizza and a pepsi and game­ for a good chunk of the day.

I don't really have any. Tonight, though, i'm grabbing some beer and laying into a bit of ol' Arkham City.

I sacrifice a bull to the mighty gaming PC gaming gods, then I anoint myself with the blood of the bull, then I dress up in full medieval battle armour.

At least that's what I do when I play Mount & Blade: Warband.

I put my Sony Wireless Stereo headset on, and then put the game into the console. I love that headset for MP and SP games. Using it for FF13 right now is awesome, the music/atmosphere is really great so far.

We honestly need threads like this more often. SW is so full of hatred that threads like these make me smile to see everyone have fun.

Generally I sit down and then launch the game. Sometimes I look really hard at the game, trying to make it launch through mind power. Hasn't worked yet though...

Put everything within reach so I don't have to get up.
