What Are Your Thoughts On EA And Microsoft At This Point?

I think EA is mad that most of their games cost under a $1 after a year or two.

Microsoft has to be upset about all the negative publicity they've been getting lately.

How do you feel about both companies at this point?

Personally I hate EA and I am waiting for Microsoft to do something so I can go back to liking Xbox...

And lets not forget theyre bring us Battlefield 4, TitanFall, Battlefront 3, a new Mass Effect, Mirrors Edge 2 ... I think they're currently one of the strongest publishers

EA announced Mirror's Edge 2, SW: Battlefront, and BF4 looks amazing. They are good with me. MS - get rid of the DMR, 24hr mandatory check, and improve windows 8.MercenaryMafia

Only improvement windows 8 really needs is a start button in desktop mode.  Desktop mode should basically be windows 7 with improvements (removing start button not an improvement) but everything else about windows 8 is great.  Its fast, not a resource hog, and the interchangable desktop and metro UIs makes it  the OS of the future.  Tablets are now actually real computers and not just toys with Windows 8.   You get the fun and games of a tablet with the full productivity of windows.  Once Windows 8 takes over it will usher in the death of the laptop.

Yeah that was a f*ck up, but Riccitiello is out now. I don't know if it was coincidence or the influence of the new CEO that they then scrapped online passes.

EA's fine, MS is iffy, Sony's awesome but nothing I particularly care for at the moment, and PC is great as always.

I don't like EA, but i support them by getting Bioware and DICE games. I'm glad they are reviving Battlefront series, though.

I dont care what EA does either way really.  They're a massive greedy publisher, but that's business.  Of course they do things I don't like, but with as many games as they juggle that's bound to happen.  And they do provide games I do like.  I'd have to say I'm neutral.

As of right now, I think MS needs to step the f*ck off.  I wouldn't mind if they fail miserably with the X1.  The Xbox was great, the 360 wasn't really my thing but it was a damn fine console.  X1 can eat shit though.  I know the big dogs get cocky every so often, but this is just overboard.

It is business. I don't hate either one. I think EA is trying to fix their image. I think Microsoft is not some big evil corp. that is gonna set off a T-Virus and wipe the worlds population out like Cows claim. But Microsoft has some work to do to fix their reputation. But I think pride has set in and they will go down swinging before they let someone tell them they were wrong.

EA, even if only because they're annoyed about the "worst company" award, has been making advances in my opinion. Dropping the online pass, confirming games like Fuse and Titanfall won't feature microtransactions and day-1 DLC, etc. They're earning my respect back.

Microsoft though, is losing it. From a games perspective, they're great. Plenty of great games and exclusives under their belt but this console? Blegh.

EA was ultra happy with the DRM MS would use,then the backlash happen against the xbox one,and all of the sudden EA act like they are consumers best friend..

People at MS now should be very mad with EA,and i think that once the xbox one is handed his ass by PS4 some heads will roll inside xbox gaming division.
