What are your thoughts on the Oblivion SI expansion?

The reason I'm really looking forward to this is that its not just like any other DLC, its a new world to explore plus Oblivion is already my favorite game. Also its alot more stange, unique and high fantasy than Cyrodiil, the land of Oblivion, and this will be an awesome mix up, a medievilish LOTR type world with castles and forests, mixed with a new world of insane people and tropical jungles and strange plant growth.

Also of course this is alot more gameplay and content like creating your own weapons and monsters and I even read an article that said you get to torture these guys.

So I'm just curious on what everyones opinions are. And its coming out soon.

I was never a fan of Oblivion. To me this just seems like an easy shot at rectifying their shoddy game engine.

ALOT of people dont have computers that will run Oblivion on the PC as well as the 360.  But I do agree with your statement

I already know that its nothing like the KOTN, I read everything about it. The burning crusade earned a 9.2 but it probrably not get higher than a 9.6

Pop-up, poor draw distance optimisation, slowdown, jaggies.... the list goes ever on. It was a poorly handled affair on the 360, and on PC Bethesda even had to rely on user mods to make it look decent.

I have put in over 70 hours in Oblivion already and I'm not even half way done with the main quest  or have my character the way I want it yet.

So yeah I'm looking forward to it. If its even one fourth the size of Oblivion it'll have more playtime then most full price games these days.

I just hope they come with a game of the year edition or something soon. I would like to have the DL content on a disk at some point.
