Trip, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West

Lara Croft, classic era Tomb Raider (1,2,3, Last Revelation etc.....but especially from TR3)

Holden Commodore, Torana SLR 5000, HSV Maloo Ute, all in the Forza Horizon games.

They bring nothing but joy by just existing.😊

I am a simple kind of guy. I like to judge my characters based on their...."finer qualities". Not sure if these guys have any story or anything but there is just...something about them.

1. Guile because he is hot.

2. Bayek of Siwa (In bath towel the entire game of course) because he is hot.

3. Snake because...well the pic speaks for itself, doesn't it?

Morte from Planescape is up there for me. Presents himself as the quipy comic relief character, but there is some tragic backstory to be found if certain choices are made. On an evil playthrough, you can hit him with a truly fuct betrayal too.

Bayonetta. A lot of videogame characters are sexy just cuz, but with Bayonetta it really is a big part of her personality. She knows she hot, loves being hot, teases her enemies (and the player) about it. More than just "big boobs and low cut top is art". Fan service with actual thought behind it.

Jessie Faden from Control. I like how she gets thrust into this bizzare situation and embraces it. Like, she probably should be a tragic character, but isn't, and ends up feeling at home in the weirdness of it all.

I suppose I'd be more curious why people have favorite video game characters. I can't think of any at the top of my head that isn't a result of it simply being a case of nostalgia and liking the game. I guess when I hear someone say they have a favorite character, there's a reason behind it, like their backstory or motivation.

Spyro the Dragon: Grew up with him. He's adorable. The worlds you explore with this feisty Dragon are amazing, especially Dream Weavers. I still play this game to this day. He's a sassy one. :3

Totodile - Pokemon

Pokemon Gold/Silver are my number one Pokemon game out of the whole franchise. Fairly certain Totodile was my first starter. He's adorable, evolves into awesome forms as you progress his levels. Solid move-set, and I've solo'd the campaign with him. XD I think I had him at lv.70-80 by the time I reached the Elite Four since he was my only Pokemon I carried.

Alan Wake: Alan Wake 2 has become my favorite game of all time. It was interesting to see how his mind worked. To watch him struggle as he came to realize certain things that couldn't be resolved except for one way. His thoughts were entertaining to listen to, and it was an amazing story.

@jaydan: The thread is about what your favorite characters are, for whatever reason. Personally I have zero interest in sexual reasons for liking a character, but if that's anyone's particular reason, so be it, I won't judge. For me, I dig the stories connected to the characters, and said character reactions to the world around them. Heather Mason is a perfect example. She faces trauma unlike trauma anyone has ever faced, and manages to not only not cry about it, but keeps a stiff upper lip, while at the same time managing to keep a certain grim humor about her. As for Lara Croft, she's a tough, tastefully sarcastic ice queen that let's nobody get in her way, and doesn't care about societal norms to any extent (classic Lara, that is). And Trip, from Enslaved, is just plain cool, super level-headed and resilient, with a quirky demeanor.
