What are your top 5 characters of this gen?

Has to be free a current gen game. Here is my list! Starting with ..

5. Bayonetta from Bayonetta 2. Badass witch with guns.. 'nuff said.

4. 2B from Nier Automata. Badass robot with a huge sword and a robot sidekick.

3. Kratos - God of War - made a huge comeback this gen as the Dad of War. He's a badass now... and a good guy.. I think.

2. Silvando - Dragon Quest 11 If you've played the game, you'd know why. He's the comedy relief of the game.

1. Link - Breath of the Wild.. Link is such an iconic character. Hard not to like!

Anyway I just look at him as an ideal that the player envisions him to be so he could be pretty subjective depending on the individual I guess.

@Renegade_Fury: Majima is a really good choice, especially the Yakuza 0 Majima.

Yea, I guess in some ways you can think of Link that way. I still see him as a character, even if it's meant to be us lol.

I liked that cat in Gato Roboto.

These are my favourite characters of this generation. I apologize for them not having much of a narrative, but I don’t play story based games. I prefer gameplay over fluff.

Quite a good shoutout! Can't believe I missed out on Yakuza characters. Mine is Takumi Someya from Yakuza 6: Song of Life. Yakuza 6 story weren't that good but he is my fav bad guy in the entire series due to how well the guy acted.

The new Kratos and Arthur Morgan are the only ones that stand out. Dutch from rdr2 was also awesome.
