What are your top 5 games announced or shown during E3?

Mine are:

1. Final Fantasy 7 Remake (God tier!)
2. Astral Chain (love Platinum)
3. Cyberpunk 2077 (went from eh to loving it)
4. Shenmue III (latest videos look good)
5. Luigi's Mansion 3 (love the charm)

Prior to E3, I was on the fence about choices 1 and 3, but man did that all change. There were plenty of other games I liked as well, but it seems like there was a lot of focus on cut-scenes and not actual gameplay. Ahem, Halo Infinite. But anyway..

The only games that really impressed me at E3 were Cyberpunk 2077 and FF7 Remake, those two games will get a lot of play from me next year for sure. Cyberpunk 2077 will look godly on my PC and FF7R will look spectacular on my PS4 Pro/PS5, I can’t wait for 2020.

In no particular order:

1. FFVII Remake. I wasn't sold on this one ... but i have to admit it looks cool.

2. Cyberpunk 2077. Since their first reveal they got me intrigued ... now i know i want to play this game.

3. Super Mario Maker 2. I spend weeks creating some of my own levels in the original and the new features look so cool.

4. Astral Chain. Is not Bayo 3 ... but man i do love Platinum Games, so yeah i will try this game.

5. Fire Emblem Three Houses. It looks like a Fire Emblem game ... but bigger and better, that alone is reason enough to be interested.

Honorable mention to BotW 2 ... we knew it was coming, but i bet nobody expected such an early trailer.

1. Final Fantasy VII Remake.
2. Persona 5 Royal because it kinda was shown and i'm waiting for it.
3. Ni no Kuni Remaster, I platinumed it in the PS3 and well, why not.
4. Astral Chain, although my hype went down from the previous trailer and yes i watched the treehouse gameplay.
5. Tales of Arise because it has to be 5 games.

This is hard because almost everything was CGI this year. I can't judge Halo Infinite or Elden Ring on trailers alone. Link's Awakening looks like a phone game that everyone would mock if it wasn't called Zelda. I guess my top 5 would be:

I took greater interest in Blair Witch after seeing Blooper Team is doing it. Loved both Layers of Fear games and Observer, and Layers of Fear 2 demonstrated an improvement in their craft on technical side.
