What are your top 5 most hyped for games at this moment?

• Bayonetta 3: us Bayonetta fans have been patient enough. 8 years since Bayonetta 2 came out. We should finally have our sequel this holiday season. Time to replay the old games in preparation!

• God of War Ragnarok: 2018’s GOTY, the original brought the series back to relevance. Hopefully this sequel makes improvements while keeping what made the first one so great. We should hopefully be getting a release date soon!

• Xenoblade Chronicles 3: the Xenoblade games have great battle systems and music. While the second one was a bit on the anime trope side, this new one looks much better. Day 1 for me!

• Marvel’s Midnight Suns: I miss XCOM, so when I found out that Firaxis was the developer of this game, I got excited! I hope it lives up to their reputation.

• Modern Warfare 2: I loved 2019’s Modern Warfare. So I’m hoping this sequel is really good! Please don’t let us down!

Those are my top 5 at the moment. But there is so much more coming out. FF7 Remake Part 2, Final Fantasy 16, Final Fantasy Crisis Core. Mario Rabbids 2, Callisto Protocol, and more.

I will admit, Forza Motorsport 8 was the most interesting game from the show case! Looks really good. The last Gears was not bad. Halo.. they should’ve delayed it..

I recently learned that the director of Bayonetta 2 left Platinum and is now working for Capcom as a game designer for Street Fighter 6. Perhaps that could explain why Bayonetta 3 has taken so long to develop and why Chun-Li's new design seems to be heavily influenced by Bayonetta.

I can't remember the last time a new game actually lived up to my expectations, so now I don't even bother.

On paper, Hogwarts Legacy is almost exactly what I want out of that world. I just want to live the life of a Hogwarts student, without having to be a famous character. But no quidditch has me worried.

Space Marine 1 was a pretty good game, and for most it held the crown of best 40k adaption for quite a while, but with 2, I don't like primaris, and the developer has me worried. Everyone that had a hand in the MCC is untrustworthy in my book.

Boltgun looks fun for a day.

Return to Monkey Island could be fun.

STALKER 2 wont be as good as STALKER 1 but it will be better than Metro despite Metro also masterpiece.

Modern Warfare 2: 2019's MW remake is by far my favorite CoD game and this game will be on a 2 year cycle. Add to that the fact they will fully integrate both Warzone 2 and the DMZ (or whatever they are calling it) game mode that is like Tarkov next year to MW2 as well and there should be plenty of value. They have also already unveiled 2 new tactical, round based, one life game modes and those are easily my favorite modes. One is an extraction game mode that sounds very similar to a SOCOM game mode which is never a bad thing.

Ark II: I love online multiplayer survival games and I put nearly 1,000 hours on the first game. I love the idea that tech skill will be extremely limited.

XDefiant: My top 5 list that I am anticipating are games that aren't that far out and will be very online shooter based since I feel there hasn't been much to talk about in this space for quite some time. Most of the games that have released have been terrible, so I'm hoping that a couple I am anticipating will be worth playing... this is a prime example.. lol.

Causa Voices of the Dusk: I love TCG's and I've been waiting for a new one for a long time. The strategy and different ways to play in this game look amazing. I'll probably be all in.

Marvel Snap: Another TCG I'm really looking forward to. A lot more needs to be shown, but from what I've seen and heard it will be plenty different from other card games and have a more streamlined approach kind of like a game of Cue.

Strange top 5 right now to say the least.. lol. I put those up there though because they are all coming within the next year.

Next I'll list some games I am highly anticipating that are either a little further out or I am a little uncertain about, yet still very interested in.

Hogwarts Legacy, Flintlock: Siege of Dawn, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, Diablo 4, Starfield, The Elder Scrolls VI, Mass Effect (untitled), Assassins Creed: Infinity, Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, Dragon's Dogma II, Gothic remake, Path of Exile 2, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (remake), State of Decay 3, Timesplitters (untitled) Being worked on by "key original members".. hoping this means mostly Timesplitters 3 type gameplay, The Lord of the Rings: Gollum (I'm interested in how this is going to play out), Lost Eidolons, The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria, Alaloth: Champions of the Four Kingdoms, Palworld (need to see more), Dungeon Defenders: Going Rogue, Ashfall, and The Day Before.

I have several others I'm looking into, but that is a list of games I am looking forward to.
