Because in less then a month I am going to be playing Halo 3 and my friend with a PS3 has nothing to play. So when I pick up my game, I might get him a movie so he has something to do that night. I heard 300 looks good.

It looks fantastic, and over at IGN they said the 300 has the best transfer of any high-def movie to date. However, keep in mind that the movie was filmed with a filter to give it a grainy look, so that'll cut down on the sharpness a little. I myself would also look into Casino Royale, because you can't really miss with that one.

Otherwise, one of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies...

I saw the Matrix and it doesn't look that much better. I think that the Matrix was a bad movie on all settings, Blue ray, hd dvd and sd. I like to see Royale thou.

Are you serious. Pirates? Which 1? I thought the first 1 was ok, but I am not spending blue ray money on any Pirates of the Caribbean.

I am not trying to be mean to PS3 players. I know what came out. I just want to play a joke with my friend. But if I buy a movie, I want to make sure it is a good movie, not something he won't watch. Thats all.
