one idea i have is since everyone seems to think that swapping discs is soooooooooooooo tedious, then they should put in like a 3 disc tray that will automatically swap to the next disc like a dvd player. or so that you can have a dvd movie in with a game and when your done playing you dont even have to get up, just use the controller to swap to the dvd movie and watch from there. :P ..... whatcha think could or should be done. and im talkin like mechanical stuff...not "teh 2398473974293874092730927 polygons per second with 18 gigs of ram!!!!!"

Get rid of chrome trims - it's cheap and disgusting looking.

your multi disc idea was good just i can see problems with it allready, the consoles going to be even bigger, most people have a dvd player anyway and dd players in consoles really aren't that great.

i think they should get rid of all these fancy nancy things like the PS3 titl sensor and jsut go back to a good pad playing good games with good graphics (Y)

Other than the obvious increase in graphics, I'm hoping that by next gen, high speed internet connections will have made it into enough homes, and hard drives will have a high enough capacity to eliminate the need for disc drives in consoles. Games should be downloadable.
