I've seen alot of people get mad at companies over the past few years, and I was wondering what devs or publishers people thought were the most honest, high quality, etc.

Personally I think bethsada is my favorite, they make massive high quality games and then support them with new content. Vavle used to be my favorite until the no content, bad graphics, weakly supported rip off that is L4D.

Betraying requires some sort of loyalty.

Listen closely cause I'm only saying this once... Companies don't care about you. They want your money. They go after the money. They do anything to turn a profit. This is true for ALL of the game companies.

There are only a handful of developers and pusblishers who try to appeal to a very certain audience, thus those games don't sell worth crap.

So its really hard to be betrayed by a company when there is no loyalty to the consumer. If you have loyalty to a company, you are kind of wasting your time. That loyalty is not mutual. Once you realize that, gaming becomes so much more fun. You break down previous barriers that you may have put up because of brand loyalty and you just learn to enjoy games on whatever budget you have.

I owe no loyalty to any company, and they don't want it. A company that has never actually fallen below standards that expect from their products, I would choose Bungie, Valve, or Gatorade (yes Gatorade)

I have loyalty to companies bud. I eat at this Toaco Bell by my work every day, last week i ordered and forgot my wallet, and the the manager gave me the food free.

On the other hand Wendy's jacked their Jr. Bacons up to 1.49 which is a 50 percent jump over 4 years ago, thats silly so I don't eat there anymore.

Get it?

SONY, but this is because I hold some sort of loyalty/trust bond with them.

They hold none with me, because they have a loyalty to my wallet.

Capcom have pretty much failed me this gen. They really casualised themself and their franchises. Although DMC4, RE5 and SF4 are great games but they are they weakest games in the franchises, well DMC4 is still better then DMC2. I dont think I can support Capcom this gen unless they deliver BIG TIME with DMC5. Anyway to me PlatinumGames are the new Capcom of this gen, I mean the company is made up of the best Capcom devs; Shinji Mikami and Hideki Kamiya.

Capcom have gone from one of my fave to a company which I feel severly let me down, damn you CRAPcom!

No just no,by your logic your saying they didn't make any money off MGS4 why would they port it to the 360 of Kojima said himself it was built for only PS3 and it was not going to the 360.360 is getting a Metal gear game though just not MGS4

The only thing that really made me mad happened with Sony. I had a PS2 and it stopped reading discs, and when I called Sony about the problem they told me to just by a new one. Now it did happen when the new slim PS2 was out and like $150 bucks or something and I had an older model. Basically they said it would be a $100 bucks to fix and I should have just spent the extra $50 and got a new one and they could not help me. So a year later I got a 360.

Despite the fact that the games I mentioned are on current gen machines they all feel like HD versions of DMC, RE4 and SF2. Seriously wth is up with Capcom, after Mikami left they are just out to destroy his franchises. DMC4, RE5 and SF4 are too casual, too easy and not worthy of attention from fans of the franchises

elixir brand guitar strings

takamine guitars

schecter guitars

roland sound equipment

gibson guitars

marshall and mesa boogie sound equipment.

can't speak for any video game co really. i always thought nintendo's first party titles were usually pretty good (mario/zelda/metroid) but i haven't played any recently so i couldn't say. as for 3rd party dev's they've all let me down in one way or the other (skweenikses waning rpg quality, konamis less than stellar 3d castevanias, some questionable capcom moves (really spend $20 to download costumes for characters in sf4 which should have been unlockable from the beginning? what about re5's multiplayer mode joke) i guess NIS/Atlus have never let me down but my expectations for them are pretty low :P

I wouldn't say loyalty but I trust Sony ever since PS1, although that might be because I've never had a faulty console. My fat boy PS2 which I bought at launch still works today even when I didn't take care of it.

I think I had more problems getting original NES games to work than any CD/DVD based games.

Oh crap I think I have selective reading casue I thought the title said which company has betrayed you :o

As far as I cant tell Sonys internal studios have been pumping out quality titles since the early PS2 days. You can understand why I love the Playstatioin brand because I always choose a system by the strength of its internal studios and I have to say Sony pwns both MS and Ninty, sorry never was a Mario fan. Also Konami has never let me down with MGS but they have with Silent Hill; SH1-3 equals best horror games ever but after that SH went downhill.

For me, Atlus. Atlus makes great games though despite not boasting them (or possibly mega-milking certain games) as much and improving quality over time. :P

sony wants loyalty think about how they felt at the ps3 launch and where ps2 gamers will be going.
