What console gen is your favorite game from?

just want to see what generation people think all of the good games come from. for me, it's last gen. my favorite game was Sly 2, exclusively on the PS2

Half-Life 2.... Best game I haveever played.

I have several:

Super Nintendo- Super Metroid
PlayStation 2- Shadow of the Colossus
Gamecube- Animal Crossing
PC- Grim Fandango

Super Mario 64, so that would be 5th, I haven't played Galaxy yet, so that can change.

If you have N64 and PS1, you have likely played many of the true masterpieces ever created. I personally liked Ps1's game selection better but I can definitely see where people would side with N64. I really can't say enough about both consoles...truly amazing.

No need to hide..people don't respect N64 as a console much due to Nintendo's downfall back then but they certainly regard some of it's games as the very best. My personal favourites are PS2 and N64.
