What console has had the best main FF games?

Square has always spread three main final fantasies for the leading console, but which console do you think recieved the best games? I know there have been alot of spin offs but this only includes numbered games, so no FFT, no matter how kick ass it is.For those that dont know, the games are:

NES: FFI, FFII, FFIII

SNES: FFIV, FFV, FFVI

PS1: FFVII, FFVIII, FFIX

PS2: FFX, FFXI, FXII

For me personally, my favourite games are X, VII, and VI but the platform with the highest quality FF was the PS1, with theNES being the weakest followed by the PS2IMO.

PS3: FFXIII, FFvXIII, FFXIV?

FFVII, FFVIII, FFX, and FFXII for me.

In other words, Sony's consoles.

Snes. FFVI is the best in my opinion,and the last final fantasy I actually cared about.

PS1. I like those FF games better than any others, even though VI and X are pretty good.

Super Famicom.

The persona series utterly destroys FF for me but as you can see, this threads about FF. So whats your platform? or do you not play FF.

I also really like all those games listed, not so much ToV

The SNES, because FF6 is by far the best in the series.

In case you didn't know, this is the guy who claims FF is ruining all the competition (including persona) by forcing them to compete and that somehow encourages the competition to make bad games like FF.

FFX was my favorite so I say PS2.

Forgot to mention FFX-2 was my guilty pleasure...I liked the dress spheres and Paine. :P

My 3 favorite FF games are probably in this order: VI, VIII, VII.

So I'll go with SNES closely followed by PC. ;)

Personally I don't think the console should get the spot light if we're discussing FF quality.

very hard choice between SNES and PSX, I went for SNES but it was very close

It's a toss up between the PS1 and Super Nintendo. I really can't pick. FFIV and VI or VII, my favourite one.

All together the Sony Consoles. If I had to pick one though it would be the PSX. IMO the PSX had it all ports of FF1,2,4,5(awful game,FF6FF),FF:Tactics,FF7,FF8,FF9. The only good FF title on the PS2 is FFXII IMO unless you count FFX-2 for having that kick ass ATB battle system.

FF 7,8 and 9 just completely destory everything imo...
