Mario Galaxy got boring fast... Sold my wii last week. Nothing in its library interests me and its very last gen. The last good mario game imo was Super mario world and sm3 before that. Oldschool goodness before they became smiley 3d characters.

Well this post basically confirmed you know nothing about platformers. Good job destroying your credibility completely with one post.
No offense to the PS3 platformers but nothing that has come out has been as good as the GOTY winning SMG. Add to it the VC and upcoming Mario platformers and you have a clear winner without even leaving the franchise.
