What console should I get? (PS3 or 360)

I'm looking at buying either a PS3 or a 360 soon and I can't decide.

I'm adding a poll, whichever console comes out on top I will buy in a couple of weeks. Please post why you voted the way you did, thank you.

If you have PC - than ps3 or wii

If you dont have pc - than x360

But it would be fine to upgrade pc with 150$ 8800 GT and buy cheaper console

Get the MGS4 bundle. I just finished the game and WOW was it awesome. About to play it again.Bubblehash

Does the MGS PS3 have backwards combatiblity. I am planning on getting one.

Well, the conclusion I come to may very well be because of that, however, there may be people who own both consoles that have some input.

I didn't see the same thread posted here today, so I decided to post it. If you're so opposed to this topic then you really didn't need to post in it.

360. it's better than ps3 in basically everywayfacebooker

If you like FPSs, upgrade your PC.

If you like RPGs in general, get a 360.

If you like JRPGs, get a PS3.

If you've played MGS1, 2, and 3, and enjoyed them. get a PS3.

And yes MGS4 PS3 bundle is BC.

360 IMO, best value by miles

Has JRPG's like FF13, Star Ocean 4, Infinite Undisocvery, Mistwalker games, has WRPG's that other consoles totally miss, like Fable 2, Too Human, Venetica, Divinity 2 etc, Halo Wars, Banjo 3, Viva Pinata 2, Alan Wake and generally the very best of games this gen, and covers all genres perfectly

So, 360 for the games, and the avalance of titles this holiday, no waiting involved to play the best games

I wouldn't base your decision of a poll. Just make a list or something of games that interest you on both systems and whichever has the most, go for that system. Might want to do a bit of research though, because if you miss a few games, buy the other console andthen find out baout these games and prefer them, you'll be kicking yourself. You might want to think about other things too though such as, Xbox360 have a lot of expensive accessories you'll need if you want to play online and Ps3 is more of a future investment, though Ps3 has many good games now and 360 does have better online functionality.

Well if you have a 360 from july 07 you wont get rrod but theres alot of reasons to get both if you focus online the 360 is better and if you want short but sweet campains get ps3

This is coming from a guy who has both so get urself a PS3 cause u get the full gaming experience. When u buy a 360, before u know it ur putting another 100 to 200 bucks to get other stuff like the hardrive and stuff, no bluetooth support, really dissapointing. PS3 also has the best library of games, and some of the major ones are hitting this holiday as opposed to 360 wuth just Gears 2 and Fable 2.hashimgillani1

When u buy a 360, before u know it ur putting another 100 to 200 bucks to get other stuff like the hardrive and stuff, no bluetooth support, really dissapointing. make a list of games you want for each console, choose the console with the bigger list
