I have $900 I can spend by the end of the business day tomorrow (Th July 12th) .. I've been wondering what exactly I should buy?

For context, I've pretty much been a PC gamer for 2 years, but I got absolutely bored with the catalog of games (I only really play overwatch on my PC now even though it can run any game) and I feel right now, there's a good enough library for Ps4 . I've heard though that Xbox One has backward compatibilty and the Switch don't have alot of games but I did play the original Xenoblade Chronicles and I'm interested in the 2nd game, Bayonetta games (But not so much Mario or Zelda tbh).

I mainly like Japanese influenced games or anime style . I did try Persona 3 FES some years ago but didnt like it much, so kinda skittish about getting P5.

Obviously I cant get all 3 so.. which console would be the best to get? I guess I could get 2/3 , but that means I wont be able to get anywhere near as many games/accessories as opposed to just getting one console and going all out.

There's also other systems like 3DS, PSVita, WiiU (I like smash bros but not much else on there). IDK if these 3 are terrible wise investments at this point though.

Oh yea I forgot to mention it looks like gamestop slashed a bunch of prices for their Ps4 games for some reason! I'm seeing Horizon Zero Dawn complete for $20 new , Street Figher V arcade $20 new, Yakuza 0 for $20 as well, fighter Z for $40 ...

If you want Xenoblade Chronicles 2 or something like that, then buy the Nintendo Switch.

I'm actually really interested in it, but I'm just not so sure that being a whole $300 system for one game would really be too worth it (Because I know I'm not that into Mario or the most recent Zelda game that I actually already played alot of at my friends house). I think Bayonetta 1+2 look cool but nothing to blow me away . Im a huge smash brothers person , but this game dont come out till december with not much else on the horizon for switch in between iirc

Then again I'm not super familiar with the game libraries of the systems, I've really been out of the loop of consoles since the previous gen (Had a 360 and Ps3 from 2009-2014)

PS4 has the most worthwhile games to play that you can’t get elsewhere. That said, I’m still a fan of indie games on handhelds but that’s up to you and your preferences.

Play Bloodborne, Horizon, God of War.

Toss-in everything by Housemarque.

For Switch, can’t really recommend anything outside of 1st party other than indies if you prefer that play style.

Indies is just such a broad catagory .. just skimming through the switches catalog not too long ago Shovel Knight Treasure Trove and Azure Striker Gunvolt , I would pick up day 1. Id say im generally not interested in indies for the most part though, unless i KNOW its a great game .

Its kinda part of the reason why I got bored/fed up with PC gaming. Steam is so overfloaded with indie games its hard to pick out and find the games with actual substance.

Get a PS4 Pro and eventually PS VR if you are in to that.

Some good PS4 games:

Horizon Zero Dawn, Uncharted 4, Dragon Quest Builders (after initial boring 2 hours gets better), Everybody's Golf, Gran Turismo Sport, etc.

I'm leaning towards just fully investing to a Ps4 and waiting till November to pick up the Switch (When smash ultimate is a lot closer to coming out).

Pretty much the only AAA games that seriously interest me from the switch are Xenoblade 2 and Bayonetta 1+2 , which problably wont be enough to justify getting the console till i can pick up smash ultimate as well.
