Black Isle back in the day. Looking forward to the Aliens RPG from Obsidian, ex-Black Isle staff. Bethsoft impressed me with Oblivion. Origin Systems deserve respect for Ultima. Bioware is my favourite RPG developer.

Developer?? Hmmmm, here are a few and i'm counting strat RPG's as well. Bioware Squeenix Level-5 Konami Intelligent Systems Nippon Ichi Soft. Media Vision and Capcom would be in the list except for the really mediocre RPG's they've both put out in the last gen.

I can't believe some people are bashing Square in this thread. The creators of Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana, Seiken Densetsu 3, Xenogears, Brave Fencer Musashi, Parasite Eve, Parasite Eve 2, Vagrant Story etc Not all my cup of tea but to bash them as a developer is ludicrous.

Baten Kaitos Origins is real good to but its the sequel well actually the presequel to BK set 20 yrs back.but its really great playin BK the playin BKO its really crazy how things were so different.
Squaresoft. CT, CC, FF, KH, SO... can't complain at the quality of the games. Atlus would come in a close second... unfortunately I can't find Disgaea. LOL! Bioware??? I've only ever played KOTOR from them, and it's a complete joke.
KOTOR was a great game. As was Neverwinter Nights 1, Baulder's Gate 1 and 2 with their expansions. Jade Empire was pretty good as well. Just wish they hadn't handed off KOTOR 2 the way they did. Havne't played NWN2 so can't comment on that. Just have to say Mass Effect and more importantly Dragon Age had better be damn good since they decided to put their focus on those instead.
