Valve + Crytek? Epic Games + Blizzard? CD Projekt + From Software?

Sonic Team (specifically the team thar did Colors Wii) and Nintendo EAD Tokyo. Make it happen already and stop teasing us with the Olympics.savebatteryI wouldn't mind a Mario and Sonic kart racing crossover to be honest. I can see that working.
Santa Monica + Naughty Dog (God of war and Uncharted)
Rocksteady + Sucker Punch (Arkham and Infamous)
Vigil Games + Ninja Theory (Darksiders and Enslaved)
Visceral Games + Kojima Productions (Dead Space and Metal Gear)
Square Enix + Kojima Productions (Final Fantasy and Metal Gear)
Insomniac + Guerilla games (Resistance and Killzone)
Platinum Games + Square Enix (Bayonetta and Final Fantasy)
Anyway, I'm kind of going off-topic, but I'd like to see two publishers together. Like say Nintendo ever does go back to the Eternal Darkness IP (whether it would be an HD remake of the first or a second game)., they should find a co-publisher to help them get better momentum for that series, preferably one that ACTUALLY had good luck selling M rated IP's on Nintendo systems. This could also work for any other game IP that is "M rated".
Why do I bring this up? Well... I think most of you know why.
When it comes to devs though, here's what I think:
Nintendo + Platinum (Hideki Kamiya wants that Star Fox)
Ubisoft Montpeillier + Eurocom Entertainment (BGE and SaTCM are awesome)
Nintendo + Grasshopper
Nintendo's developers and SEGA's developers for a NintendoXSEGA game it could be a fighting game or it could be a crossover RPG.
Santa Monica + Naughty Dog + Sucker Punchispeakfact
And I don't even need to say that it would be PS3 exclusive.
Developers aren't like comic book heroes. Throwing together two devs each usually with over a hundred employees each isn't going to make them more efficient or better.vashkey
man can dream cant he?

Every developer has their own strengths and weaknesses, i dont see why getting the right combo wouldnt make a better game than either of them could do by themselves.
if Miyamoto (Pikmin, Mario, Zelda) and Michel Ancel (Rayman, Beyond Good and Evil) teamed up we'd be in for a creative gaming masterpiece
Otherwise it would be Retro and Rocksteady... They show a great deal more attention to detail and focus on player control than most game developers do these days
I don't think a mash-up between giant devs would be viable since creating a good AAA title requires a very cohesive design philosophy, something which many +100 man devs are unable to get right eventhough they're all working under the same roof. Smaller devs however, might actually pull it off. I would love to see Thatgamecompany (creators of Flower and Journey) team up with Hothead Games (devs of Deathspank) to create a game that is as beautiful and innovative as Journey and as witty and expansive as Deathspank.ZwilliThat's a great idea. I don't think it would be a commercial hit per say - but definetely a title gamers can appreciate.
The dream team-up already happened Frictional Games (Amnesia) and Chinese Room (Dear Estrer) working together on Amnesia: Machine for Pigs.
Besides that Egosoft (X series) with Chris Roberts (Wing Commander creator).
Paradox Interactive and Creative Assembly. PI doing the over-world while CA does the real time battles.
