What devs make the best character theme music?

Kind of a crazy topic but here goes. What devs do you think make the best character theme music.

I'll start with Square. They give all their characters in their RPG's their own theme music and sorrt of elevates the mood when a character suddenly joins the scene to his music playing.

Capcom would probably be my favorite. The Street Fighter series. I mean Ryu's Theme has hung around for a real long time. All the Megaman games are also decisive.

Nintendo, man they hit there's spot on. Each character and each game pretty much has a defined song for it like Samus, Zelda, and especially Mario. Just check out SSBM.

So what are everyone elses?

I also like the music in Rare games.

Stricly speaking I highly doubt that the devs make the music... it's the composeres isn't it? (I'd love to see kojima rock on the guitar, though).

That said I have to agree that Square & nintendo are pretty good at picking out the right composers. :)

Square, probably. The old Square games anyway.

As for a single character, the Master Chiefs music is great.

Koei.........Dynasty Warriors- Lubu's Theme.

The best is either Square-Enix or Sony.

The music completely defines Halo and the Master Chief. It's basically perfect.
