What did everyone think of Dishonored 2?

I thought it looked amazing. I am really excited for the new powers and the look of the game world. Comes out in November, who else will be grabbing it?

They really improved from the first game, I really liked the domino that you can do.

That time travel stuff was very cool. I'm trying to preorder the collectors edition as we speak!

It looks interesting, but trailers almost always look good. I'll wait for more gameplay trailers for it.

The going-back-in-time device is interesting too.

Definitely on my radar, really enjoyed the first one.

Awesome! Up there with Deus Ex as my most anticipated 2016 release.

First game was badass, if a bit of a push over. 2nd game is looking legit.

Didnt the first one have the easiest final boss out of any game in history? you literally would sneak behind the guy and kill him then it was game over congrats for beating the game LOL

i did enjoy the first game tho but that final boss was too stupid so i'll get the second game when its at $20 or less

Drawn out. Couldn't get into the first one, sure as hell won't enjoy this one either. I'm so glad they got rid of that atrocious art style from the first game though.

Same impression I got from the first. Boring story, OP abilities to play through the level like a playground. I did like the stealth aspect and that's how I would play it, but that's about it.

Front row hype lady wasnt too thrilled.

But I'm very excited to play this once this actually releases in March 2017

I loved the first game and this one is looking pretty sweet as well. That makes one game from E3 that I'm really excited for.

what we saw is more than enough for me

Mildly excited. Not worth 60$ (nothing is) but hope it's good.

Because of only the final boss? That's why you'll only buy it for under $20?

I'm literally shaking with excitement. I loved the first game, and just really love the Dishonored setting and universe.

Looks fantastic, but not my kind of game. It's something I'd watch someone else play, though.

Looks like a very good game like the first one. Unfortunately, this one also feels too easy like the first one and level design feels similar too. I can't see enough improvements so far. Adding more powers won't do the trick.

Unfortunately.

It's actually killing three people (high chaos) or killing nobody (low chaos). Which was actually quite a surprise for me.

I also think you can go ahead and kill no one and set them up against eachother so they kill eachother.

So it's actually one of the best and most creative boss battles ever.

Unlike those COD boss battles which are essentially a QTE, now those are easy as hell.

He's complaining about lack of Boss Battle in a Stealth Action game. Lol.

it also looks exact same as original too. they didnot even change NPC model.

Deus Ex Mankind divided is going to own this game so hard.

Don't like the art style, pass. I don't see how you can make an atmospheric game with that kind of look.

The first Dishonored was great. If you liked the game and haven't done it yet, do play the DLCs. They are like a second campaign.

Dishonored 2 looks even better. I'm really excited. Love that you can play as Emily.

The first game had an uninspired main story but amazing world development so I'm excited to see what they do in 2.

Sounds promising and i loved the first one ....but in terms of graphics, it didn't look great

I swear to you some of the PC people on this forum, didn't actually play some of the games they talk about, but watched a youtube video from like gggmanlives or something and let him inform their opinion.

I enjoyed the first one a lot the first play through but could not replay it no matter how much I tried. Just couldn't feel the same. I do not know why.

This game will be interesting. Can I get back into the series? I just don't know.

It'll be bigger and louder like most sequels from what I can tell. IMO they should've taken a step backward and made it more grounded. No doubt it'll be a good game like the first one, but they can do so much more.

Im dissapointed that they didnot evolved the game from first one that much. i mean look at Deus Ex Mankind divided. Much improved level design, boss fights, AI, stealth, combat and bunch of new augments. while dishonored 2 feel almost same but with 2 characters who are voiced.

I liked the original well enough and the trailer, which fortunately seemed to be all gameplay footage, looks like it'll have the makings of a proper sequel. I'll be keeping an eye on it for sure.

@ghosts4ever: Deus Ex is a GotY contender while Dishonored 2 will be a great game at best.

I'm wondering if both characters will share the same powers or if the girl is "easy mode", because some of her abilities looked incredibly overpowered to the point of making the game too easy and boring. Still, it could pull it off and still be fun.

Also, did I hear them correctly saying that you get the definitive edition of the first game if you pre-order the second? Because that's a worthy pre-order bonus right there.

I'd definitely recommend playing it. Just go crazy with it, the game is at its most fun when you are blinking all over the place, confusing your enemies and just using powers in a creative way :)

I wanted to enjoy the first Dishonored, but after a few hours I just wasn't having any fun with it.

Game looks good if you're a fan of the first or of the genre. But it will get a strong pass from me; unless I clear out my backlog, redownload the original game, and find some enjoyment out of it. Not planning to do that anytime soon, though.
