If you enjoying the game, then you already bought it. Worth buying is no longer an issue.Â

Not true. You can play a game without having bought it. Store kiosks, demos, friends' houses, rentals, ect.
Furthermore, you can purchase a game and then decide afterwards that it was not "worth buying" based onÂ
how much you enjoyed it. Just because you bought something doesn't mean you thought it was worth the
money.Â
Especially if the game is on a system you don't own. How do you define a game to be worth buying or not? Are their any specific guidelines IYO? munu9there arent really ay guide lines ecxept I should like the game.
Price, reviews, videos, genre, content all factor in big time. I don't have the money to buy every game that looks decent like some of you (especially lemmings....many of you buy EVERYTHING half-decent). Prettymuch has to be top quality with tons of content for me to pay $50 or even $60. Most only okay or short games I wait till they're $20-$30 or just rent it.
To buy a system it needs to have reliable hardware worth the cost and knowing there will be tons of good games for it. I own a PS3 because the hardware is great and I know there will be tons of Sony 1st party that made PS2 so great, regardless of sales. 360 is a must buy also with Mass Effect especially.... now for those 65nm chips so it won't die. Wii is vastly overpriced last-gen hardware. I've played most of the top games and really the Wii-mote detracts gameplay depth and devs are on a crusade to make everything retard simple. Unless I have a lot of extra money at some point the Wii is not worth it until it is $99, all the big Nintendo franchises are out.
Two things for me.
The amount of pure "fun" I get out of it.
The amount of time that "fun" will last.

I tend to buy some short games anyway, just to get that fun. >: Great games with short stories depress me. Â
