I'm sorry if a similar thread has been posted about this same topic but I am curious on what other people find more Comfortable in there Gaming Experiences PS3 Controller Or Xbox 360 Controller IMO I reckon that PS3 is better for fighters but Xbox is better for shooters what do you think?
the controller is just a tool. i have higher k/d ratios in FPS on DS3 than 360 controller. so that doesnt mean anything. 1.25 consistently on 360 and 1.62 on ds3
The 360 controller is infinitely better for FPS and racing... I hate the DS3 for FPS its awful.... But the DS3 is better for action games like infamous and uncharted... The jelly beans on the 360 controller dont quite cut it...
i think ps3 is better in everything period.... the analogue sticks are not as soft and they move around far better...also the dpad is far superior and i prefer the 'bumpers' on the dualshock...
Well yeah, my answer hasn't changed from the identical thread you posted in the PS3 board...
The 360 controller; it feels more natural. Even I find the PS3 controller to be too small, and I have girl hands. Honestly, that's part of the reason why I tend to buy multiplats for the 360 rather than the PS3.

I can easily play street fighter wt any DShock type of Directional Pad...... compare to the "full-cross" type. and the both of the analog stick are in Symmetrical position (good for katamari games for example).... unlike the xbox controler which is asymmetric... like having a bend nose

I'll go with the 360 controller - it's larger and more ergonomic and it has much nicer triggers - but I'll agree with you, the D-Pad is an abomination. It never seems to make up it's mind as to which part of it you're pressing. So yeah, the 360 is better for racing games and FPS', but not anything that uses the d-pad
The 360 controller is more comfortable and feels better in your hand after long periods of playtime. The analog sticks have better resistance which makes them more accurate when aiming or moving around.It doesn't feel flimsy.
I prefer the 360 controller for racing (which I never play) and shooters cause of the triggers; PS3 controller for everything else. I have small hands so the size of the DS3 is perfect. Plus I like to use the D-pad for menu navigation and the DS3 is the obvious winner there.

aha you just got a 360! but still wierd becuase i went from from ps2 and xbox controllers to 360 controller and it was better right away
The controller is one of Xbox's true strengths this generation, surprising when you consider what an incredible failure the original Xbox controller was.
The most comfortable controller of all is the gamecube controler. My hands just melted into that thing like nothing else. The 360 controller has the same button layout but is less taylored to fit a person's hand, but that's the one I'm going to pick for this thread
