I'm hopeful, but not optimistic. Ubisoft has gotten much better at making video games since the release of Far Cry 2, but it's still an open world FPS on consoles, which probably will mean respawning enemies and poor AI.
The game looks fantastic, better than FC2 in every way: - While I like Africa but I prefer the more colorful tropical island setting any day, - The annoyiances like respawning guardpost, gun jamming, fixing car, malaria are all gone. - The gamewolrd is filled with towns, villages, NPC's who offer side missions. - Weapon customization: you can buy different sights, scopes, extended magazines, suppressors ... - There are ton of interesting locations to explore and secrets to be discover. - Stealth is improved , ect
i wish the game the best of luck... i loved the other farcrys before 2, but farcry killed the game for me. I dont have trust in so i be waiting and weighting heavy on my buy from people opinions and reviews unlike far cry 2
Well the first 2 Far Cry games sucked, 2 sucked even more.
But this game might change the seires and make it good. I am liking the Single Player ideas they are doing with it, open world with lot's of mission variety ect....it's good because mose FPS games have crap SP that only last like 3 hours or so, this one looks like it could last a long time.
The map maker is going to be great too, sorry Lems but it totally destroys Forge. I just hope it has the game play to back it up. I'm in a personal debate between this and Black Ops 2. Both of those look so good, I already know BO2 is gonna rock though, just not entirely sold on FC3.
This game is my most anticipated game of 2012 so i'm expecting big things from ubisoft and from what i've seen so far everythings looks so sweet and i'm so happy ubisoft are going back to the tropical settings.
