I’m talking about Spider-Man, Death Stranding, Last of Us 2, and Ghost of Tsushima. These are the games being dubbed as the Big Four this E3. Are you hyped for them? Are they a force to be reckoned with? I’m definitely hyped for these games. I don’t know if they will be show stoppers though. There’s a lot of third party competition. What do you make of this, SW? Can the Big Four be stopped?

I don't hype any games anymore since the disappointment with FFXIII, so I'll wait and see when they release.

They're not meant to compete with third parties btw.

To be honest I'm not really hyped for any of them. I'm just interested to find out what they are like at e3. I'm hoping gameplay will be shown and its good. Then the hype will build from there. Death Stranding and Ghost of Tsushima interest me more because I feel like they have room to be different and do some new things. Kojima despite the entertainment bullshit is still a classic Japanese dev who will look to creating some new gameplay mechanic. He talks about it with things like MP and Death but I don't understand wtf is he on about. Sucker Punch this is there shot to step up. This is there GG moment and I like the setting of the game.

Spider Man is just spider man to me not a big fan but interested enough to give it a go. TLOU 2 I'm a fan who likes what the first game did with story and gameplay from encounters stand point. I have some very hard feelings about the game. lately I cant forget or forgive that E3 demo with so called balance of power AI promise. I cannot stress enough the potential that is there that i feel is being ignored and forgotten. That I feel it needs explanation as to what happened because the ingredients are in the game. I'm hoping I get surprised and the team focus on delivering that in an even bigger scope for the game. That is one so called movie game that truly has potential of delivering fantastic gameplay that can shame a lot of other generic so called games. It just needs paid media to call it out and get the team to focus or answer what went wrong.

I’m very hyped for Death Stranding. Looks to be typical bizarre Kojima stuff which I absolutely love.

Spider-Man is my favourite superhero so I’m really hoping that it turns out to be awesome.

Never played The Last of Us, yet, but it looks like a really good game that I will enjoy and I would imagine that the sequel will be just as good.

Ghosts of Tsushima looks to be very promising.

Death Stranding - Hideo Kojima has become a pretentious fuckwad, evidenced by the stupid videos for Death Stranding that tell me nothing of the gameplay and the nonsense of the last few boring Metal Gear stories.

Ghost of Tsushima - I played the Infamous demos on PS3 and I think some of the original game. They weren't good.

Spider-Man - Will wait and see. Nothing to be hyped about yet. I hope it's more than an Arkham wannabe.

Last of Us, Part II - Interested. I played the original two months ago. Liked it. Wasn't great, but pretty good.

Edit: This was the first trailer for MGS3:

Loading Video...

Actual gameplay. Far more entertaining than this pretentious, vague imagery Kojima has been teasing for two years.

@ezekiel43: I think Kojima didnt have any idea about how the gameplay would be on those two trailers, those are still concept trailers. But I believe it's time to cut the trailer BS and show us gameplay.

I’m not hyped with any of them, the only one that interest me is TLoU 2, but it’s not like I’m not going to sleep for months, actually, I have more interest in Days Gone.

I have interest in them all except Spider Man, zero f***s given for that. Though they are all so far away from release it's pointless working up any kind of anticipation for them.

1) Spiderman

Not much interest in it, feels like another batman game something i already wasn't interesting in

2) Death stranding, unless he can show me some gameplay that actually blows my mind i won't be interested. Dude is full of PR hype with any game and frankly while i can appriate his older metal gear solid games, the newer ones never interested me.

3) Last of US 2, no interest. Seems like a budget uncharted in a zombie enviroment. Unless again they can showcase me something amazing i couldn't care

4) Ghost of tsushima, no clue what that even is.

Spiderman and TLOU2, sure. I have faith after the first TLOU and insomniac spiderman i have faith in.

Ghosts of thesushibar i know nothing of gameplay of. For all i know it's a qte melee game.

Death Stranding the same. I don't give a fvck about Reedus or his baby or another weird cg trailer. Show me what i am controlling, am i shooting, am i melee, am i David cage game playing, what?

Ghost of Tsushima has my full attention.

The Last of Us 2 is a given.

Spiderman is not my thing.

Death Stranding is a hard pass. After 3 or 4 trailers, I still don't know what the hell it's supposed to be.

I know all 4 games will be great. Already sold on them.

I want to know when that “Dreams” game is coming out.

I want a couple surprises. Even if they are only smaller games.

If Ghost of Tsushima is a next-gen super polished Tenchu game being assisted by Masaaki Hatsume like one rumor I am hearing, I will literally not give a damn about anything else until I can play it. Other than Ace Combat, of course. That's my holy grail. Modern stealth games with guns do not tickle me the same way as good old fashioned medieval weapons and a boat load of patience can! I WILL flip STRAIGHT the eff OUT! <3

Im hoping this is just a smoke screen and they have more, like some psn/bc features and some multiplayer games.

Interested in Death Stranding as its supposed to have co-op. Last of us 2, dont care for singleplayer but multiplayer mode in the 1st one looked like a lot of fun, so hoping the 2nd expands on that. Other two dont really interest me, but Ghost of Sushi might grow on me. Spiderman looks good but i hate Spiderman.

PS4 couldn't go out with a bang any harder than Sony is with these big 4 games.

Death Stranding: Legendary video game creator, Hideo Kojima, is coming with his Magnum opus. DS being exclusive still brings the extra salty tears from Lems to this day.

The Last of Us Part II: Not much to say here. Neil Druckmann is one of the industries best. Naughty God's don't know how to make anything less than a masterpiece.

Spider-Man: looks great.. not the biggest superhero fan but it looks legit. Gonna be a huge system seller for Sony no doubt.

Ghosts of Tshushima: is gonna vault Sucker Punch up into one of the preimer studios. It's probably like ranked 5th in Sony's studio ranking I'm but 5th is still better than anything Microsoft can put out. This one is gonna be huge too.

TLDR;

Sony has a huge dong and is gonna swing it and sweep the competition off it's feet Mortal Kombat style. Masterpieces everywhere.

I haven't seen anything on Death Standing or Ghost of Tsushima or TLoU2 to judge what they'd be like.

Spiderman could be hit or miss depending on how repetitive the gameplay gets.

The Last of Us 2 & Ghost of Tsushima

I don't care about the rest. Hideo games are usually snoozefest convoluted garbage. And I'm not feeling Spiderman at all. Probably worth a $5 dollar digital purchase.

I'm not really looking forward to it.

Spider-Man is a maybe at best.
Death Stranding needs to show some gameplay before I care
Last of Us 2 is a maybe at best, didn't like tLoU1 that much, only finished it because it was so hyped
Ghost of Tsushima needs to show some gameplay before I care... but I like the setting

I certainly hope they will have stuff around with actually gameplay.
Maybe a new game from Housemarque? Maybe some Dreams stuff?
Or how about a RPG? LoD2 or a remake of 1? A new Arc the Lad?

Wait are these big 4 actual games that will be released or are these just like final Fantasy 7 or drive club where you hear about the game coming out but they really just wanted to build false hype in their consumers with no release dates to be found anywhere?

I worship Naughty Gods. Number 1 anticipated game, along with Red Dead and Crackdown 3*

Insomniac don't make the best games ever, but they are always rock solid and fun. A generic new IP from them, might not be too interested, but a well executed Spiderman? Yessir, sign me up.

Don't know the remaining 2.

@SolidGame_basic: Microsoft is a disaster area in terms of new games... Still, my comment is about a general overall practice that annoys me. Talking about games years ahead of being anything playable is beyond irritating. It doesn't hype me to hear about a game 5 years before it's released. So they talk about a big 4, but are these big 4 going to be in consumers hands before next E3 or are we talking several e3s?

This is now the 3rd e3 since Death Stranding original reveal. I set the over/under on 3.5 and bet big on the over. Unless its a q4 launch, I will hit big on the internet bucks.

Only Ghost of Tsushima interests me because Ninja game with proper western production values. I mean who wouldn't like that.

Death Stranding - F**k Kojima until he shows some gameplay and it better be good. The dude is overrated ahole.

TLOU 2 - Not interested, TLOU was a bore both story and gameplay wise. Give me Uncharte over it any day. I would much rather have Uncharted 5. TLOU for me was a downgrade.

Spiderman - LOL a superhero game.

TLOU 2 loved the first one so can't wait to finish up the story at some point next year. Death stranding is hard for me to get hyped for because I know nothing about it. I don't need to see anymore of Spiderman I know it's going to be epic insomniac don't make bad games.

IMHO, I think SuckerPunch has proven they are a Day One Buy tier dev. Kojima certainly has a massive pedigree as well, but he does need to prove he can handle having his own studio and calling all the shots. It's less an issue in faith and more a matter of how good can his first product being independent be? Living up to his own name is a great challenge.

David Jaffe, Cliffy B, both proved they need that oversight to help hone their crazy ideas.

Lets hope Kojimmy doesn't fall into the same trap. When there's no one left to say no to you, you turn into George Lucas and make the prequel saga. :/
