I'm surprise you all didn't figure it out. TC is saying you can play Mario/Zelda on the Xbox that doesn't have Mario/Zelda name in it. In other words, MS made some loopholes to matching both Nintendo play style. Cuphead is a good example of a Mario Bros. game only without the Nintendo's name.

So, rather than having the real Mario, Zelda, or Metroid which is like having a Coca-Cola, I can try to make myself better by playing off-brand versions of those games. Kinda like drinking an off-brand cola.

Something that is close, might even be good. But still is not the real thing.....

For the record, I own both an Xbox One, a Wii U, and a 2DS. Yeah, I enjoy platform games on the Xbox One, but let's be honest here. When I want to play a Mario game, I want to play the real thing.

Not saying other games are bad, but Nintendo games often have that special touch to them.

Might have to switch out the top right one with Lucky's tale, depending on how that turns out. I guess we can't put Cuphead because its a shooter not just a platformer, but it bears mentioning nonetheless. Now I like Axiom Verge but we could also switch that one out with Ori . Overall I'd say Xbox can hold its own there. You've got 2 heavy hitters on the Xbox side and 3 for Nintendo, unless something unexpected happens with Lucky tale. Let's not Forget Ori Will of the Wisps though, that could be a smash hit.

I thought you could by using the HDMI input on the Xbox family of Consoles. ;)

If you like Mario 64, where it's more about exploration and replaying levels than super tight platforming, Hat In Time is ace, this is coming from a Nintendo expert.
