What do you think about cheating on consoles? MW2

Im used to playing PC games and dedicated servers where admins can always just ban these individuals but now that IW has gotten rid of dedi servers on the PC were in the same boat now as console players. As many of you know the 360 version was leaked over a week ago and there are also already scripts out that are undetecable to the 360 that allow for anti recoil and keyboard and mouse use on the 360. They take the controller signal and hijack it to allow it to run through the PC and transmute keyboard and mouse keys in placement for a 360 controller, thus nothing is done on the 360 itself and will probably never be fixed. How do you guys get rid of cheaters because if its already bad on the 360... us PC players are really screwed since VAC takes weeks to actually serve the ban and is not user based (we cant submit complaints to Valve), all done by the backend.

What do i thinkabout cheating on consoles? its lame and sad that someone is willing to do this, honestly, what's the case, your just lying to yourself pretending that your are winning, i think is just sad, specially when this guys think that they are good.

more like im asking does the PS3 or 360 have a vote system in place to get rid of these people? Ive never played COD4 on either and on the PC its set up completely different. MW2 has almost identical setups from what I have read so I was just curious.ColdfireTrilogy

Well for some people cheating is fun. Not that I cheat. But I can understand why they are having fun if it helps them to win. Because for me win=fun. The joy of pwning someone online is unmatched by any other feeling in the world.

I have no problem with cheating outside of a competitive environment. It can extend the fun you have in the single player games. For example, after a friend and I beat Champions: Return to Arms a few times on multiple difficulties, we had some fun editing the stats, just seeing what we could do. These characters weren't ones we used on-line (unless it was a private session with just us), just something to goof around with. The only problem I have is when cheaters use it to cheat other players and detract from the fun of others.
