I think the situation lends itself well to buying either a PS3 or 360, and a Wii if you like Nintendo games.
Nintendo knew this would happen, and probably knew it was a make or break idea with their controller. Now it doesn't matter if the Wii has games or not, it's all about people swinging around a piece of plastic.
