I just saw a trailer, and, i think the game has Wii style graphics. Look at the trailer and compare it to House of the Dead:Overkill. Graphics look similar, huh?

You mean the 'film grain' effect? That's used in games that won't even work on the Wii, like Left4Dead and Battlefield: Bad Company.

And i think WET will beawesome, hyping AA

I hope the gameplay holds up, it's like Max Payne+Tomb Raider+Prince of Persia. If the game turns out to get A or above, I'll have an avatar of Rubi.;)

Looks pretty boring to me, it would be fun for about 30 mins, then just get tedious.

Just another game honestly. When I watch the trailer, I kinda get deja vu because the concept has been done by Mirror's Edge, Prince of Persia, Stranglehold and Tomb Raider just to name a few. The sex-symbol heroine dropped my respect for Bethesda as well. If I want female companionship at night, I go party. If I want female companionship during the day, I go downtown. If I'm lacking in game, I can hit the internet. In no way am I a basement dweller who needs to get all his female companionship from a game, and Bethesda treating me like one isn't making me like them any better. Of course, all this is based just on the trailer and images and WET might actually be pretty good.

It looks like crap and will probably ship with Bethesda's trademark assy programming code.

Stylistically it's trying too hard to be edgy, ends up looking crass, juvenile and like a shameless, tacky, inferior ripoff of Tarantino. The game itself looks untimely and mediocre.

Stranglehold+BloodRayne+El Matador+Total Overdose. Add up the Metascores and you'll get what I hope this game will end up at. 69.
A2M. WET. 69. Wouldn't that be ****ing perfect?

Bethesda didn't do the game. They just bought the publishing rights from Activision Blizzard (like EA should have done with Brutal legend, instead of stealing). The game was fund for now deceased Sierra. Bethesda just publishing because Activision sold publishing rights very cheaply.

This 4 quotes make me sad for humanity. They try to show their are smart and know things just to spill crap.

newbs, must be the same people that raised pitchforks against Activision for brutal legend withouth knowing everything.

The game doesn't seem appealing to me, but the name certainly does because there are near infinite jokes to make about it. You could say that you can't wait to get WET, your girlfriend is getting WET for you or that you asked your parents to get WET.

I don't think it will be very good. I do find it hilarious how they pretend that they aren't exploiting the main character's sex appeal, when they totally are.

Yes, I know they published it, that doesn't mean they should keep publishing this ****. "Artificial Mind and Movement" the developers of this game have a great past lineup also with game such as:

  • Dante's Inferno for PSP
  • WET
  • Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings (Wii, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable)
  • MySims Racing (Nintendo DS and Wii)
  • Kung Fu Panda: Legendary Warriors (Nintendo DS and Wii versions)
  • Iron Man (Wii, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, PC and Nintendo DS versions)
  • High School Musical: Makin' the Cut! (Wii, PlayStation 2, Nintendo DS versions)
  • Mercenaries 2: World in Flames (PlayStation 2 version)
  • Lord of the Rings: Conquest (Nintendo DS version)
  • High School Musical 2: Work This Out!(Nintendo DS version)
  • Transformers: Animated(Nintendo DS version)
  • The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (Nintendo DS version)
  • Power Rangers: Super Legends (PlayStation 2, PC and Nintendo DS versions)
  • Spider-Man: Friend or Foe (Nintendo DS & PSP versions)
  • Happy Feet
  • The Ant Bully
  • Kim Possible: Global Gemini
  • Kim Possible: What's the Switch?
  • Teen Titans
  • Monster House
  • Kim Possible: Kimmunicator
  • Ever Girl
  • Ed, Edd n Eddy: The Mis-Edventures
  • Flow: Urban Dance Uprising
  • Chicken Little
  • Lizzie McGuire 2
  • Get On Da Mic
  • Scooby-Doo! Unmasked
  • Scaler
  • Carmen Sandiego: The Secret of the Stolen Drums
  • Kim Possible 2: Drakken's Demise
  • Home on the Range
  • Scooby-Doo! Mystery Mayhem
  • Ice Age
  • Monsters Inc.
  • Bugs Bunny & Taz: Time Busters
  • Smurf Racer
  • The Grinch
  • Bugs Bunny: Lost in Time
  • Jersey Devil (video game)
  • Drake & Josh (video game)

So I expect great games coming from them.

I kinda liked it, but gameplay is too repetitive, although that level where the main character jumped from car to car on the highway was sick.

It looks fun and very average. That's not bad, though. It just doesn't look as polished or amazing as other titles.

Do you know something I don't?

I know that activision sold every Sierra game publishing rights it owned cheap for another interested publishers (except Brutal legend that got stole). All their games got publishers and NO games were cancelled. Bethesda, Atari, THQ and Ubisoft PAYED Activision to publish the games Activision was selling.

Activision tryed to sell the game Brutal legend to EA, but EA simple went behind Activision back, talked directly to Double Fine and convinced them to screw their rivals(activision).

EA/double fine were the only ones that didnt respect Activision rights. Brutal Legend launch was never in jeperdy Sierra(after merge) representant said that while brutal legend wouldnt be published by activision, the game wasnt cancelled and that activision was simple trying to sell the game for interest publishers.

The mess and lawsuit was EA fault, and the gaming comunnity was ridicusly naive, defending Tim shafer game.I love tim shafer games as anyone else, and Grim fandago was one of the best games I played, but they were wrong for not respecting the rights Activision had.

@Yandere Sierra was publishing and funding. Bethesda is just publishing because Activision BLizzard sold cheap. They got their hand in the game 6months ago, they have almost nothing to do with the game. They didn't do the game and had no say on anything on the game for the entire development cycle. Got it? If you expect bethesda quality of game for a game bethesda have nothing to do with, you didn't understand what happened. The only thing they doing is the package, distribution and marketing. They didn't even choose the name and had nothing to do with choosing concept. They didn't even directly fund the game. ( just bought the rights and funded the marketing)

A. There were only 3 quotes in your post

B.It should be 'these 4 quotes" not, "this 4 quotes"

C. I don't give 2 craps what Activision or any other company does. If I have a problem with they way a game is being handled, I won't buy it.

The lesson. If you are going to try and put yourself out there as being smarter than someone, you should at least, be smarter.

I'm not above admitting that I was wrong, I did know that Bethesda is only publishing Wet. I made a mistake. You should try and be a bit more gracious when you are correcting someone. Especially if you are going to litter your post with mathematical and grammar errors.
