They base their report on each other so it goes into circles really.NobuoMusicMakerbut still, I don't think someone would be making this up. It sounds like something sony would actually do.
how is it possible to make the psp smaller, it has an optical drive with moving parts for forks sake.
It's already at an almost technologically impossible size for the features it has. It's not gonna get much slimmer unless they get rid of the umd drive. Now a lil less wider is possible.
They should just make the current PSP more efficient... not add any new options or features... it is fine as it is aside from the poor battery life and unstable build quality. They should just make it an indestructible energy sipper.foxhound_foxisn't that basically what this is?
The rumor wheels are turning and sites like gizmodo,Kotaku, and RumorReporter (that site sure sounds credible) are talking about some new psp. the new device that they're dubbing the "psp slim" could have: *4GB-8GB flash drive *LED screen *flip down controls *smaller overall size *better battery life *bluetooth *same old crappy ps2 ports all joking aside, I may actually get one. I'm in the market for a new MP3 player and I could kill 2 birds with one stone via this device. Should come out this fall. jack_russel
I fthey do not add a second analog stick then they are dumber then I thought. Not having the second analog sticks makes almost every shooter less fun than going to the dentist.

I just got my PSP in february and I love it, I just wish there were more games and longer battery life. I would totally go for a redesigned one as long as it cost about the same as the original.
As far as getting it in substitute of an MP3 player, I would advise against that. I love my PSP for videos, but the audio playback isn't that great. ALso, it is larger in comparison to most MP3 players. However, I think the PSP's file system is alot easier than most MP3 players. I have a ZEN VISION MICRO and files on the PSP are alot easier to manage.

it's too late for that. While I agree that should have been on there, this is not the time for it. This new psp is just an update; not a whole new system. It would be like adding a third screen on the DS lite.how is it possible to make the psp smaller, it has an optical drive with moving parts for forks sake.

If you read what the TC posted they might use a LED screen which is slimmer than LCD, you could cut the size just by using that.
