Loved the first one.
Felt gritty, raw, nice gameplay, from start to finish.
Second one didn't like it.
Too silly, not gritty enough, didn't like the characters, didn't like the "anarcho-punk" vibe to it.
The first one had more of a "noire" detective story vibe to it which I liked alot.
I don't think I will buy legion because imo the first game was what the Watchdogs IP was all about, and having played it and enjoyed it, everything that came after so far was lame and only can serve to ruin my memory of the original.
Oh and I also liked Watchdogs way better than GTA V (or any GTA so far, which just keeps getting more ghetto and sillier as time goes on.) It doesn't have that grittyness to it anymore, it doesn't feel like "true crime." It feels like Saints Row where you beat the shit out of somebody with a 3 foot long dildo. Too much comedy/slapstick. "yo ni66a yo ni66a" it's boring.
Not saying the hood is boring, it doesn't /have/ to be boring, it /shouldn't/ be boring, but in GTA V they made the hood boring. The hood should be filled with "true crime" and real gritty drama, but somehow in GTA V this is not the case, they made it too silly, too comedic.
What's really missing in gaming is real seriousness. Real drama. Grittyness.
It's all just slapstick comedy. With purple aliens that go "tink tink." And gangsters that act like clowns. Too childish.
Games like Watchdogs, Metro, Alan Wake, these are the games that give you real grittyness without cheap jumpscares.
