It deserves at least an 8 imo, hopefully it will get 8.5-9 tho, to shut some of the haters up. Im more hyped for this game than i am for anything else coming out this year. I've played the demo a good 10 times and it gets better the more i play it.
Based on the demo I'd give it 4/5 stars, which roughly translates into an 8 or 8.5. However Too Human is truly a love-it/hate-it game and considering the state of gaming journalism, it could score anywhere from a 4 to a 9.5.
I played the demo, learnt to love it, understood the mechanics and adapted to it. However, it's marred by a plethora of technical, artistic and design issues, along with a control scheme that is frankly poor - while you can eventually wrestle it into working very well, "wrestling" a controller should never be part of the process.
Don't know why people give the game lower than 7s, that's for broken games and the demo was not broken. The camera may have needed babysitting, but there were no graphic glitches or combat problems at all. Control scheme will not make it lose points, it's different, but it's not broken.

I bet if you ask anyone who says it will get less than an eight has only played the demo once. Hasn't unlocked all the different classes and hasn't played around with the advanced combat. This game grows on you over time as you learn its nuances.
It really depends on how the game review puts the past talk behind him. He needs to review the game for what it is now. Not what it was or was billed to be.
My guess is 8.5 at best. But I'm expecting somewhere in between 6.0 and 7.5. I've played the demo, and from I've played I can say it's repetitive with limited environments.
But I'm kind of thinking 9.5 only because of the hype for an MS exclusive.

You play a single level... and in contains both a forest-y environment and a technonordic dungeon. I can see repetitive, but limited environments?
7.5, After playing the demo there is so much more that they could have done to this game to make it one of the best games this gen. I think it is very disappointing, I understand what they were trying to do, but I don't think many are going to understand. Hence why it will hurt them in the end.
Edit: In my opinion people really have to stop hyping this game because they will be embarassed as well completely disappointed.
