My only worry is that they will try to make it a casual game now that Itagaki is gone. Difficulty defines an NG game so we can't have that.

They should do away with unblockable rocket spaming, focus on polishing and balancing and make the story more like NG1 and we could have an easy AAA in our hands. Any more ideas?

Also, it should stay on HD consoles and ignore all this motion controller stuff.

Hard as ****, a harder difficulty than Master Ninja, local and online co-op throughout the storymode but with increased difficulty, the ability to switch out weapons in between combos, more weapons, more weapons like the wooden sword.

without itagaki, i'm skeptical where it's going to go, Team Ninja hasn't really done anything great after his departure.

I want it to be as similar as NGB as possible that was the best NG game, not like these sigma rehashes that takes away everything from the original.

An interesting story and some character development. The series doesn't interest me and my experience with the the games is not very pleasant so an interesting plot to give me motivation to continue the cheap enemy filled game would be welcome.

I want great level designs and balanced gameplay. I mean more like Ninja Gaiden 1 not the horrible level designs and enemy placements in Ninja Gaiden 2, it crossed the border from being actually hard to cheap.

The first sigma removed the difficulty from NGB, it felt too easy. Sigma 2 removed the blood and added an unecesarry multiplayer mode. All im saying is that i enjoyed the original versions that itagaki made more than the sigma ones and yes ive played them all.

Fanboy much? NGZ1 is an improvement over black. They only removed the gere from the second sigma because they were lazy and only used the sigma engine for 2.

Sigma isn't as hard as Black, even on the highest difficulty, because Black was already impossible to begin with.

They didn't review the game in master ninja, not only beacuse it was a remake of a game they probably p;ayed already but because most reviewers play and base their opinions of reviews playing in the normal modes(unless they officially say prove otherwise).

Everything the same. Annoying bosses that make me yell at the TV, Ninjas throwing shuriken that kill me in one hit, Izuna Drops, etc.Without those it just isnt a Ninja Gaiden game. i would like to see the Co op mode enhanced from Sigma 2 and not be as laggy and have more varied missions (possibly even a separate co op campaign)

What I want...

NO MORE GOD DAMN PURPLE MIST!

Bring back the glorious blood and gore, add more awesome obliterations, finishing moves and weapons. And don't dumb it down for the casual market, keep it Ninja Gaidenish and your origial fans will be happy.

A good story, a seemless change of weapons (it would lagg in NG2) and a more brutal game than NG2. Also a bit longer.

It will definately not go to Wii. But yeah they need to fix the difficulty. The only reason why NG2 was hard is because it was just cheap. More balance to the difficulty and a coherent story and it could be very good.

That might be a tough thing to top. IMO Bayonetta had some of the best gameplay since Ninja Gaiden 1. But Team Ninja can pull it off though.

better control... better camera... more variety of UT's but make them shorter... bring back the kitetsu, it had the best UT. better control is my biggest wish, ninja gaiden 2 was too much of button mashing of hack and slashing... ninja gaiden 1 had the wooden sword and nunchuku (which were fun to increase difficluty)... u could add kicks into your combos... i hope ninja gaiden 3 will be more realistic combat based with kicks and punches... and bring back the roll please. oh, and obliterations... either fix them or get rid of them.

Big enemies and special way to kill them, like in god of war. Great cinematics between the fights. Coherence in the story. Take out Rachel and Momiji... concentrate in Ryu and Ayane (put more missions for her), they are both ninjas, and of the game start with Ninja!. Special missions in the story with stealth action. With Team mission mode and SINGLE mission mode. Better attacks and killings from the enemies. More costumes andninja weapons. Thats the things thati expect fromNinja Gaiden 3!!!.

Good bosses, tons of blood, better online, it's actually a good feature, more single player missions, Better Level Design >>>> the biggest turn of for NGS2 was the super linear boring and bad level design.

More melee attacks, something like street fighting or kickboxing.

What? Ninja Gaiden 2 was an awful follow up because it backstabbed a brilliant combat with a challenge that wasn't even legit. Sure NGB had stuff that was certainly stressful(I learned exactly how sturdy the xbox and its controllers were from all the rage that game induced), but it felt fair. When you got your ass kicked in that game it was because you weren't up to snuff. With NG2 it's not even balanced. You are constantly running into, being spammed, or hit with **** that isn't even legit. Ninja Gaiden 2 might have the most visceral and satisfying combat in the genre, but the rest of that game isn't even in the same league as Ninja Gaiden Black. What I want in NG3 is still a hard NG game(because an easy NG game isn't NG now is it?), but this time more in line with Black in that it feels fair and rewarding. Not cheap and unnecessary. I also want the blood back because that blood was glorious, more weapons, and the game to run at a constant 60 frames per second with no slow down. That would be a nice start for me.

Here's what I want to see:

A RETURN TO FORM. I like the gameplay of the 3D ones, but it doesn't feel as tight as the old nes games. I'd like to see the story told more in the same fashion as the older games as well, which had more memorable characters and far better dialog.

One big connected world that unlocks as you progress. It must be thought out and have back tracking.

Not tube after tube of real world settings.

And keep the ridiculous to a minimum. NG1 was weird, but not to the level of NG2.
