Personally, I miss the old one. He was a badass, a cheesy one-liner spouting one, but a badass, nonetheless. The new one looks like a malnourished, gun-toting Adam Lambert, tbh. But I'll give him a chance for now.

What do I think of? I think of Edward, unfortunately. siLVURcrossWhat this guy said. It's a destruction of the character.
People are getting worked up over nothing it is obvious that this is set as the beginning of Dante's story and it seems like his demon side takes awhile to set itself in, in the trailer you see bits of white hair coming through on the back of his head and he looks like he is in pain at some stages, demon side taking over? To sum it up it seems like this is the origin story of Dante. Also the badass phrase that is beign thrown around would Halo Solo, Batman etc become a badass as soon as the popped out...n, it takes time for the character to evole it won't happen in and instant.xxmatt125xx
▲ Have you ever even played a DMC game? DMC3 WAS Dantes origin story. ▲
I think that it does'nt matter much to me and that people were saying the same things about the old Dante 2 years ago.
If it wasn't Dante I'd be absolutely fine about it, maybe even like the style (reminds me of someone for some reason, but not sure who). However, this younger Dante looks like he's trying too hard to be cool & badass, while the real Dante just oozes badass with ease.
Edit: The more I think about it, I guess this new Dante isn't a big jump from DMC3 Dante - I've been comparing him to the more mature DMC4 Dante. I suppose you could say he's gradually matured as the series goes on (time line wise, not consecutively through each title).
