What does Nintendo do with the money it makes from Wii sales?

Just wondering.
The Wiihas beenselling like hot cakes, but what has nintendo actually done in return for the customers? Nothing as far as I can see.
You'd think theyd start making more high quality games, improving the system etc,seriously.
Not that I own a Wii so I dont really know.
System wars is super boring lately...
I say its going into a super fund for wii2 or something

What? Nothing? Why should they do anything?

They offer the product. People agreed to buy it. Why in the world should anything more be offered?

Do you ask this of any other company? Am I missing something here?

Nintendo does other stuff than just game systems I would say most of it goes into R&D plus they are pumping out more games than ever. Though all their 1st and 2nd party companies. So alot of that may go there also. HarlockJC

Third parties are never going to have confidence in their product on a Nintendo console. If Nintendo competes along with Sony and Microsoft, it doesnt do them any good; look what happened with the Cube.

Im not saying that the third party situation on the Wii is good, definitely not for a traditional gamer, but there are a lot of third party games on the Wii that have been a success. A game like No More Heroes is niche; I doubt its going to sell well on any system. I guess we will just have to wait and see on that point.

Yet Call of Duty, Guitar Hero, Resident Evil the kind of brands people trust, do well. If publishers funded and marketed actual AAA productions on the Wii, with the backing of a brand that people trust when they see if on the shelves, they will get the kind of sales that Nintendo has.

I would love it if going HD would solve Nintendo's third party issues, but it wont, and many of us have come to accept that fact. The Wii is what it is, and going HD will just leak money.

Nintendo need to disrupt again before incorporating these things.

same goes for the ds side of things for example when they released the gc they started immediatily working on wii ,, or researching itw ;e

also the upkeep of the buildings they work out of stores they make , (eg nintendo world store in ny) also gotta pay its employees
