What does Sony have to do realistically?

At this E3, to get the ps3 moving in a positive direction? I honestly don't think it's catching the other two consoles at this point, but what would they have to do or show to change that? Even a price drop at this point i don't think would do. My opinion is what Microsoft showed was enough where even if the ps3 drops it's price now it's not catching them. They need more than that now.

Wait people are actualy still hoping ps3 will win this gen, its not happening didn't happen for the OG xbox and its not happening for ps3. too late too make a comeback and compete, all they can do is ride along.

Sony could have a great showing at E3. There are so many things they could show. I'm just excited to see what they've got.

Unveil Rockstar's next franchise that's PS3 exclusive and is totally new and NOT L.A. Noir. Announce MGS5 as PS3 exclusive, talk about the next Team Ico game, GOW3, Uncharted 2, GT5, Heavy Rain and finish by unveiling this game. Oh and a $100 price drop to seal the deal.

Sony just needs to release more great exclusives, which they are, so Sony is doing fine.

Yep, they made a mistake this gen and are suffering for it, if they drop the price they lose, if they don't drop it they still lose. they're stuck

Wow.... did I fall through a time warp and end up back in 2006? All these defensive cows, with their damage control, has a very familiar feeling.

A new MGS, Final Fantasy information, more exclusives and they're fine. If they want people crying from joy, FF7 remake. But I think they're doing alright now; the games on the horizon that I already know about are promising enough.

I think one thing they should really try to do is secure a well known xbox exclusive. Like maybe a halo, any halo. Or something like that. munu9

Sony been screwed this gen, but hey atleast they didn't go under yet !

From my understanding ALL of the money sony made off the PS2 went into developing the ps3, and they lost it, sony loses money with each console made, said this in another thread but the only way a price cut will come is if they take away some hardware in the ps3 they can't price cut without doing that because they'd lose even more money. so in return the consumers will get a 'dumbed down' version of ps3

Oh and NONE absolutely ZERO % of MS's COnference was spent talking about sales figures / stats..... it was all gaming goodness.

It's hilarious to see all the scared Cows running around here in Damage Control mode.... I can't wait til Sony has their showing with their already announced games... 1 or 2 exclusives that we didn't know about and sales figures, more talk about Blu-Ray or some crap....

No way Sony can top MS now.... it's just not going to happen.
