What does System Wars owns regarding PS4? PS4 Vanilla, PS4 Slim, or the awesome PS4 Pro?

Owned the original since just after release, and bought the Pro not too long after that release. The Pro was a complete waste. Some added performance was nice, but at 1080p... Meh.

Vanilla. Works fine for me - no reason for me to upgrade

PS4 Pro and it is only used for exclusives like all my consoles.

Bought a vanilla PS4 during it's official price drop at $350 way back in Oct 2015. But gave that away to a nephew last year, and got myself the Pro.

Wouldn't have bought it had it not been for a trade-in promo that also let me get a Switch.

Still got the launch version. It still plays the games I need it to, and I don't think the upgrade is with the price for the Pro.

I traded my PS4 in for a Pro on launch day. It was a nice upgrade.

I only really buy games that support the Pro: Horizon and SOTC are great examples. I don't buy games that only support vanilla PS4, I mean what's the point ?

PS4 pro, mostly since a) I didn't already own the original PS4, and b) from researching on the internet, I could reduce the insane load times on FFXV with a PS4 pro and a SSD. The extra GPU horsepower I didn't even really use, as I ended up running FFXIV in performance mode for the max fps possible at lower resolution. (which was still shit anyways :/)

if it has multi player i most likely will use it on PS4

If I would have known about the mid gen refreshes, I might have waited for the Pro and X1X.

Next gen, I might not buy at launch knowing a mid gen refresh will come along. This can back fire on both Sony and Microsoft. We shall see!

I got a Special edition original one: the White Destiny PS4. Because at that point in time I was hyped for Destiny.

Pro, I had og Bloodborne one I got from Japan but that thing was a jet engine so gave it to my sister(or well my brother in law and the kids)

PS4 Vanilla here. Also still got an OG 3DS.

Never was much for getting newer models of systems. I normally just keep the first one I get for a particular system.

I have three PCs and a WiiU. A media PC in the living room, VR PC for the Vive in the spare room and my main PC im on now.

I owned the original then later sold it because all the exclusives that I bought it for sucked and my PC did 3rd party games better.

I "Upgraded" to a White PS4 Pro after getting a 4K HDR TV .. I couldn't be more dissapointed.

The first one was broke and BSOD on most games... returned it. had a new one.

Playing Horizon or Monster Hunter ... the thing sounds like a jet engine.

It's louder than my full tower PC with a GTX 1080 TI and i7 (both overclocked) by nearly double the db.

Absolutely crap machine. As I can't see any real worthwhile exclusives on the horizon (no pun intended) tempted to sell it for more PC/Switch goodness.

And even if it breaks I wont buy a Pro. I dont think the difference justifies $100 more to play the same games with slight differences in visuals and/or performance

None. The only PS4 game I thought I would be interested in was UC4. It's not enough to justify a purchase.

I have the vanilla PS4. Not only do I have no desire to upgrade, but I've thought about selling it since I barely even play it. Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy and Shadow of the Colossus are the only reasons that I'm even still keeping my PS4 around.

I upgraded to a Sony X900E on Black Friday so i traded in my ps4 slim and fat xbox one in amonth ago and got a ps4 pro.

Slim. I've considered getting a pro, but I'm waiting to see if there will be another revision. I'm fine with my current setup as it is though.

I bought a regular PS4 at launch and traded it in for a Pro. The Pro only cost me $150 with the trade in. I love my Pro since it's much quieter than my launch PS4, and it makes my PS4 exclusives like HZD, UC4, GT Sport, etc. look sexy on my 4KTV and PSVR.

Well can't be worse than Xbone though.

Got a used PS4 vanilla a couple of years back . I only use it to play online games since a have a lot of friends there and a handful of exclusives i'm intersted in.

I have a vanilla PS4 but it's nothing but a dust collector.
