Well the games im interested in 2008 for the wii are: King story, no more heroes, mario kart wii, tales of symphonia 2, civilization revolution, diaster day of crisis, final fantasy crystal chronicles: the crystal bearers, de blob and dragon quest swords.
Some people will find it good, others bad. I think its good, but i want some more first party titles.
The first one I am certain that deserves to be looked at is No more heroes. It wont do too good because I am certain it will be a love it or hate it like Killer7 but Suda51 is bound to show off that Nintendo can handle mature and third-party and all that bull people keep complaining about.
I'm sure there are some unannounced games like Pikmin, Star Fox and maybe a DK game. Plus you have VC games to fill the void and have Mario Kart Wii coming out in early 2008.

Seriously, im getting it though. I'm not sure why, but I just feel like getting it. I think it'll be a good use during the Winter and rainy days where I can't go outside. If I don't use it alot, oh well. There are plenty of 360 games I have that I haven't even touched yet.

Getting the balance board would be a good idea because they could do some cool things with it in different games.

I think the game itself made more sense on the DS, though. New features weren't the best, though (curse the developer who brought in the idea of watering flowers!)

I was thinking more of a platformer either 3D or even 2D.
the wii is an empty vessel as far as 2008 is concered. Nintendo put all their eggs into this years basket leavign a barren wasteland of 2nd degree filth.
the best sheep can hope for is a 2009 zelda release, and even that is a stretch.

I know. But that's what is currently going on with DK so don't expect another game for a while.

Nintendo has many classic series under their belt. They may have put out their most well-known games for 07 but they certainly didn't put all of their good games for this year as you put it.
