Killzone 2 was good, but it was more a case of style over substance. Also, it is based in a sci-fi setting, and they used the CoD health and jumping system.
Also, the best visari speech is the beginning one.
I liked and disliked the class set ups at the same time. I always seemed to want to use certain guns with certain perks but they were not available in the class I was in.
I also don't like how head shots are 1 hit kills but shooting the person's torso take 8-10 bullets
I don't like the fact that it is the best first person shooter released so far this generation - better than Halo 3 ,COD4, Stalker , Crysis , etc. A sequel to a 6.9 game made by Guerrilla Games (and Sony - who can't do shooters) being #1 doesn't sit too well with me. How did this happen ?
I dont like how we waited 4 years and all we pretty much got was a copy and paste job of the current gen FPS template.
GAZZA, RICO, GAZZA, RICO. That sums it up :Psalxisyep all the did was spit out profanities at anything that moves... or doesnt.

So everything Sci-Fi need to have 3x higher jump and have shield?

The controls. Mouse/keyboard or Wiimote would have made the game enjoyable. It was very smoothly executed and had fantastic visuals and all, yet, I thought it was just to repetetive in nature - turning into more of a fancy looking corridore shooter with hardly any variety. It had a couple of novel features like the cover system - which rocked by the way - and the multiplayer was immersive, but it was pretty standard aside from that, with hardly anything new: Regenerating Health; check, Iron - Sights; check, Shotguns, Pistols, SMG, Machine Guns; Check.

well yes. everything MUST be like halo to be good these days. check out borderlands. its a halo RPG.intentionally designed input lag in aiming...doesnt bother me that much after getting used to it and still a fun game, but cmon, there are better ways of making gunplay more challenging to handlekidcool189
The controls got updated. The weight of the character is still present but it's easier to aim.

to me it was mre of the game genre not working with the controller I avg out 36-42 points a game which I think is terrible but if you put a 360 controller in my hand I'll more than likey get 60+plus points in each game. granted they controls take getting used to. The campagn was very lackluster to me and the online maps were a tad to big. other than that the game excels.[QUOTE="kidcool189"]intentionally designed input lag in aiming...doesnt bother me that much after getting used to it and still a fun game, but cmon, there are better ways of making gunplay more challenging to handleEpak_

well, i guess i can look forward to it even more now when i pick it up next week :)kinda boring imo, I think that both Halo and Resistance had more satisfying campaigns then KZ2's was.
The campaign, the story, the characters, the universe itself. The multiplayer is good though, the single player is mediocre at best. jg4xchamp
Actually the universe was very rich. GG just didn't do a good job of portraying it in kz2. You should go to killzone.com and read up on it. What I didn't like was Rico and the lack of weapon variety online.
Co-op and length of the campaign. I don't see people's problems with the campaign. It's a war game. You don't need a story, and besides Rico and possibly Natko I thought the other characters were very well done. It's hell of alot of fun both SP and MP.
