What excuse will PC Hermits have if MS and Sony's games are graphically superior

This happened last gen when no PC game was as good looking as Gears of War.

  I'm just curious what the excuse will be? I've looked at all of the Arma and Crysis screenshots (vids) and none are as good as the Killzone 4 vid (IMO)...None look as good as Deep Down as well.. Maybe its an artistic subjective thing but I think those 2 games wipe the floor of Crysis3 

 The reason I am really curious is because PC gamers seem to have a hard time believing that a console game outclasses their system. Is it so hard to admit that? I'm no PlayStation lover but what was shown was amazing (well with 2 games).

If anything, developers will spend less time debugging console ports and implementing graphical improvements and features on the PC version of games due to the similar architectures.

PC games will look better, like every other gen.

I'm sorry, but consolites need to know their role and shut their hole.  Both PS3 and Xbox 360 were DX9 in a DX10 world.  You're not going to have better looking games than PC so much as at least be relevant for once.  That's not exactly a bragging right in the grand scheme of things.

Don't believe me?  Wait til the GeForce 780 comes out and turns consoles to rubble.

Obviously PC's will always be superior in terms of raw power. But when did a video card such as 7850 become a slouch, it is an amazing card. I am thrilled to see these specs in a console. We will truly see some amazing looking games, gone are the days of consoles holding back PC games. Let the next gen begin.

Not sure if you were around last Gen but Gears was the king for a long time (including PC). I would agree but we did see someone actually play KZ4. That was not like the BS tech demo they had for KZ3

What is exciting is developers such as Naughty Dog and Polyphony Digital made games look that good with a 7800GT 256mb ram and that stupid Cell processor, imagine how good GT6 and Uncharted will look now, no more memory bottleneck, no more cell **** no more 2005 GPU.

It´s a way more impressive game from a rtechnical standpoint than KZ ever will.

There´s already new footage but this old one is the only available on youtube for now,really early work,mostly placeholders.

And I would say to PC gamers, me being one of them, dont be so ignorant, PS4 graphics will actually come pretty close to PC. I think this will be the case for probably 2 years, and then PC's slowly starts to pull away with another release of new videocards and possibly brand new architechture

Not being a hermit but umm....

1. Mods
2. Multiple genres that are prevalent on PC but maybe get one game every 1-2 years on consoles
3. Graphics that will be superiour after 3 months of consoles being out
4. Ridiculously cheap prices for games via Steam

Console graphic superiority on it's own is a joke.  Technology is constantly advancing and PCs take advantage of that.  Consoles don't.  They are locked in place the day they first come out and can't take advantage of any hardware advancements.  A consolite trying to own graphics superioity is foolish.  You've got like 3 months brag before it all comes crashing down on you like a pile of bricks.  It's been this way since the first 3D cards came out way back in the Windows 95 days... damn near 20 years ago.  Not sure why anyone hasn't been able to recognize the trend yet.

It wouldn't matter because I'll probably have them too.
