Well I know my pick is losing but anyways I voted Orange Box. I think will all the games included in ONE package the Orange Box would keep you occupied for a long time. Also the price is just great:D
SMG. Why you ask? Because shooters are common now days *yes I know that crisis and orange box are amazing* But we haven't seen a platformer the same caliber of SMG since....perhaps banjo tooie. Which was like 7 years ago.
I voted for Crysis. I was expecting an epic, open-ended, action-packed singleplayer campaign with a decent multiplayer component that runs well on my comp... and to my suprise thats exactly what I got.
SMG because no other game this year other than Crysis and Bioshock even remotely deserve the title. The game is pure fun, and truly redefines the platformer genre and takes it to an even higher level.
(None of the games that I played that came out this year were on that list, and I didn't know you could nominate games on your own, or I would have voted for Fire Emblem: Raident Dawn so far.
I voted for that Kane and Lynch game because I wanted to see what game was winning and make sure my vote didn't affect that( i couldn't decide what i wanted to pick.
