What game has the best gameplay of 2010?

My vote goes to Bayonetta athough I havent played Vanquish yet but gametrailers gave it a 9.7 for gameplay

I didnt know whether to putBioshock 2 or RDRin the last slot , I thought Bioshock's gunplay was fantastic so went with that

Hmm, I'd honestly have to go with Mass Effect 2 or God of War 3.

God of War 3, though very very short, was a gem amongst games.

Halo Reach, even though I LOVE IT, is the best Halo imo, but it's not necessarily the best gameplay since it feels like the first one.

But I'd personally pick Red Dead Redemption as the most fun game I've played this year, one of the best since GTA San Andreas

GOW3 for most fun.

Heavy Rain for most unique.

For me it´s between Halo reach, Mario Galaxy 2 and Bayonetta.

Bayonetta without a doubt, the game has so many action and it's so frenetic but even so, it plays so smooth.

Well the only game on the list that I have actually played and beat is GOW3. Going off of the Vanquish demo though it's gameplay seems far more impressive. GOW doesn't take much skill on the normal difficulty and as everyone already knows the gameplay is pretty shallow, while Vanquish seems like a genuinely tough game. I will pick Vanquish on the poll, but GOW3 is still my current goty pick.

Gameplay? Halo Reach, followed by Bayonetta.

I went with Bayonetta and was thinking it before even seeing what options you gave...pretty clear winner.

Really tough choice. God of War 3 played very well. Smooth without a hitch. Sony Santa Monica are definitely professionals. Halo Reach as expected has great gameplay. Red Dead Redemption took a nearly "dead" western-genre game and made it a blast to play. I was surprised how great it controlled. Honorable mentions are Super Mario Galaxy 2, Bayonetta (even though I dont like the game but I played it), and Mass Effect 2.

In the end, I'll have to go with Starcraft 2, and a little bias because it happens to be my "GOTY" pick. Followed closely by Mass Effect 2 and God of War 3.

Vanquish was totally unique and just what the PS3 needed

Well now that I own and have played it, Vanquish all the way. So much polish has been placed into the gameplay. It's probably the most fluid shooter gameplay-wise that I have ever played. I ****** LOVE it.

Vanquish. You can slo mo after jumping over cover with a snipe rifle and headshot people. How can it get anymore badass?siLVURcross

Only thing more badass than that is doing a slo-mo kneeslide towards an enemy while blasting away, and THEN doing a crazy flip-kick off his chest and continue blasting him WHILE you're flying through the air. Oh wait, that's in Vanquish also. :lol: Man, the game is just the very definition of badass.

None of them. They all were not great. Bayonetta was the boringest game I've ever played.
