Thats a shame because the Brits are some of my most favorite people in the world to play with, the international community in Rallisport Challenge 2 may be my best memory from the original Xbox era.
My guess is that the adversarial nature of fps's are a breeding ground for D-bags.
its crazy i think i played with just about ppl from all over the world on cod4. from europeans, south americans, and even ppl from asia. last 2 nights i played against ppl who were from japan.

I'm British and trust me its usually "us lot" who start it. The "Americans" apparently love us little brits because we're tiny and cute and just like real people, but really we're just a bunch of nasty 19th century chimney sweeps with a coarse temperment and a serious resentment to our previous colonial assets (mainly the USA).

I was playing Warcraft III the other day. This guy on my team did not build anything, he just gathered resources. Then he gave them all to me and called me a noob for not using them (even though I was using them). Myself and my two other team mates proceded to give him a nonstop verbal thrashing (which was mostly profain and all hilarious). Then he started clicking notices all over the mini-map for the rest of the match. It was funny.
