Your going to be playing SSBB much more because of on-line play.
Counter-strike, 7 years about. by a large margin the most.
Diablo II, since it came out. - off and on but still a lot.
WoW, since it came out. - off and on but still a lot.

Natural progression. It's totally safe to assume that at least there will be a copy and paste of Tooie's multiplayer applied in Threeie especially when you take into consideration Microsfot requires online for it's games.

That could be really cool. It was fun playing Splinter Cell co-op helping each other through obstacles,
diablo 2, over 3000 hours(i have lost count)
Nhl hockey games(nhl 06,07,2k5,2k6,2k7,nhl 08) all of those combined= alot of gaming hours

Now I really want co-op for Threeie (especially since I finally have my 360 online) but the levels have to be deliberately designed to be played in single or multi play. If you look at the "Split Up" technique in Tooie, co-op would have sucked. One player would be taking active steps torward a goal but another would be stuck standing around doing nothing. Bottle's Revenge was axed and thank goodness too, it would have broken the game's diffuculty.
So a big thumbs up to co-op but only if it is done right.
