What game have you put the most time into over the past few years?

Playing Call of Duty: World at War today, I began to think about how much of my time I've put into it. I own this game across multiple platforms (PS3 and PC), and have beat the campaign three times, in addition to the countless hours spent playing Nazi zombies with my friends and younger brother. There was a period of time inbetween my old gaming PC and my new one where I was a console-only gamer *gasp*, and this is all I played during that period. I don't think I've ever purchased a game that gave me more for my money than this one, with the possible exception of Flight Simulator X.

What about you all? What game have you put the most time into over the past few years?

Twilight Princess for some strange reason

Mass Effect. Gotta be around 100hrs. I put into that game on 360 and PC.

over 200 hours in warhawk.

Non-multiplayer: 150 hrsin Final fantasy 12.

Hmm if we go about 3.5 years back, it's WoW, unquestionably. From the last two and a half, it's either R:FOM, Killzone 2, COD4, MGS4 or Demon's Souls. Oh how could I forget Warhawk, it's in there somewhere.

Oh crap, total de ja vu moment. There was a thread like this last week, and I came to the same conclusion. I mentioned a bunch of online games but ended up remembering that NHL 08/09/10 is easily the game I have played the most in the past 3 years.

For multiplayer games, either Halo 3 or CoD: W@W. Though BC2 may change all that.

For single player games, FF7, mostly because I've been beating it annually for 7 years, or Ocarina of Time, because I've probably beaten it around 14 times.

singleplayer: Kingdom Hearts series

multiplayer: Halo (if you include Halo 2)

DOUBLE EDIT: now that i think about it, I probably put more time into ME1/2 than KH1/2

Probably well over 200 hours in UC2.

Yeah, I completely forgot the Mass Effect games... I'm still pretty sure World at War takes it though.

This gen, COD4, Fallout 3 and Oblivion.

Last gen, Final Fantasy X and SSX 3

Counter Strike Source and L4D2.

gee, let me think. I don't have xfire on half the time, so it's actually alot more than that.

World of Warcraft. *Hangs head in shame* My oldest character's played time (logged in) is over half a year, like 180 days. Maybe more.

Diablo 2: LoD is probably for all time (and a good amount recently). I guess Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2 for more recent titles. BF:BC2 will easily be my most played title in the next 2-3 weeks.

World of Warcraft no questions about it.

Diablo II: Lord of Destruction

400 hours in oblivion

Super Smash Bros Brawl. I've probably logged almost 250 hours into that game.

As for this gen, probably Fallout 3. Even though I usually prefer deeper games, I can see Just Cause 2 taking that place in the future. There's just an unlimited amount of things to do to achieve 100%. And about as much fun to be had while doing it. :)

EDIT: I should probably add that I almost exclusively play single player games.

I've spent 200+ hours with Serious Sam: The First Encounter.

Must been Wow, just stopped play it a month ago.

Well, in a way, yes. :)

Though story-wise and due to the over-the-top action nature of Just Cause 2, I'd refer to it as a shallow game. It's not exactly what I'd pick up if I was looking for a compelling, well-told story.

On the other hand, some may argue that the story of Fallout 3 is weak too, but that game, and many others, have the complexity that Just Cause 2 for obvious reasons lacks. Both games are great, and I guess they can be considered deep in their own ways. :)

I have definitly put the most time into pokemon. I forget which game but I remember putting in around 250 hours.

I feel that by your 5th or 6th(or less) playthrough you probably had nothing else to do in the game so I have to ask: what´s the motivation?

This right after World of Warcraft.

Brawl has over 600 hours of game time, I think, i'll check later for the right time. After that it's Rune factory Frontier.
