MGS4 wouldn be the closest but it could be done if kojima were willing to loss somethings and gain othersRagashahs
I honestly don't get all this " (game x) can't be done on (system y)" crap. The PS3 and 360are close enough to be able to do pretty much any game the other can. the only system you could say couldn't handle certain games is the Wii
After seeing the newest White Knight trailer. I'd have to say it couldn't be done on another console. In the same quality.

Yes another white knight fan but yeah I gotta agree I was gonna put that game next lol.
Well MGS4 is probably coded very very specifically to PS3 hardware from the beginning. Not to say it couldn't be done on 360 because what we've seen certainly could be. But I have a feeling there's a lot more to that game.
Lair would probably be my pick. Vast gigantic areas with tons and tons of detail and stuff going on. They seem to be using the Cell for the specific advantages it provides.
You could also point out obvious Wii games that you'd need the controller for..... but it is so massively limited in every technical area that really who cares? You could easily release a Wiimote-like controller for the other consoles but you certainly can't change the crappy base hardware stats of the Wii.
Any game on the Wii or ps3 may struggle on 360 due to a poor processortaikthebate
Did you just make an account to troll? I have seen you comment in a lot of threads, and they all have dumb comments like this in them.
On topic, I would say any game that caters to the strenghts of the system it was made on. If a game wasmade specificallyfor PS3 hardware, it can only be done properly on PS3, If it was made specifically for the 360's strengths, it can only be done properly on there, and if the game was made specifically for a Wiimote, it can only be done properly on the Wii. other than that, with the exception of the Wii, any game can be done on any of the systems.
Hypothetically speaking, an extremely intensive CPU game may only be possible on the PS3.
The reality, however, is that the ram will bottleneck the system before it even gets to that point.
Basically, any 360-PS3 game cannot be done on the Wii. Wii games based around the controller cannot be done on the PS3-360.

Something like Wii sports or WarioWare could easily be done on PS3 or 360 (they'd just have to pack the game with a new controller like Guitar Hero comes with a guitar controller.) MGS5, Killzone 2, Mass Effect, Halo 3 etc. could never be done on Wii. It's not like they can pack the game with adecent processor, a decent graphics card,or a decent online service for the Wii version. LOL.
[QUOTE="Laxe84"]KZ2 - simply for the reason that they said the demo level weighed in at 2GB!! I mean that's a BIG frikin' level!!Kevanio
lol multiple disks would solve that problem ;)
Ok...so after every 3-5 levels I'd change discs...this isn't 1997 you know. Having a 'mutiplayer disc' and a couple of 'singleplayer discs' just shows up the lack of storage the 360's chosen media has. Why people think it's ok to have swappable discs in this day and age is beyond me.
I reckon if Epic had their way, GoW would be on multiple discs but it's not because M$ knew that swapping discs in and out during a game would just get people cheezed off. Then again it could be just me on this.

The argument can work both ways. "They could just downgrade the games until they were playable on the Wii" simple as that. Even if objects were represented by a couple polygons the basic gameplay would still be there.

Not really. You're just talking about polygon count. What about all the calculations the processor has to make that effect physics, geometry etc. No Wii game will ever be able to display physics like the PS3 can, no Wii game will ever have destructible environments like the ones seen in Killzone 2 or Stranglehold, or the amazing A.I. of FEAR. Sure they could have the odd crate break and call it destructible environments, or have much weaker physics and A.I. but these things clearly effect gameplay. Everything would have to be downgraded so much that it would get to the point where the game was no longer recognisable from a gameplay perspective, not just a graphical one. What makes Forza 2 a much better game than GT3 isn't that it pushes more polygons, it's the physics, A.I. none of which were possible last gen.
Then you have the online. Wii doesn't have any sort of decent online system to match XBL or PS Home. Making an online experience such as the one found in Halo3 (great matchmaking, friends lists accessible at any time, recording all your online matches) or Resistance (40 players dedicated servers, fast matchmaking.) SureWii can have a dumbed down online experience (Mario Strikers) but that isn't the same thing at all since it lacks in to many features.
Wii plays last gen games with a new type of control method. It can't play many current gen games.
