I kind of was going through that thought process about the PS3 not too long ago. I don't think I will be buying it back though. millerlight89
Why did you sell it? I don't own one and just was wondering why you weren't satisifed with the product.
I bought and sold the ps2 a couple of different times, I also owned 2 different N64s, though I never sold one, just left it at home when I moved out.
I bought a new ps3 after selling my 60 gig. Sold it after 2 years with an upgraded hdd for 650, and bought an 80 gig. Pretty good deal for me, and I didn't care about the bc.

KH, Hitman 2SotC
And I've sold many other games I regret selling now... damn I wish I had Shinobi back!!
I would never sell a console. Only Elitetists do that.
How did you come to that conclusion? Right at the end of a generation. Elitists sell their old consoles and get new ones. Why would you want to sell a consoles, you are ruining memories. It could be worth alot more years later.

How did you come to that conclusion? Right at the end of a generation. Elitists sell their old consoles and get new ones. I agree with you on the bold part but, what about those who sell it even if the gen hasn't finished??

I reckon they think the consoles are worth keeping. Not thinking about the memories.

How did you come to that conclusion?bobcheeseballRight at the end of a generation. Maybe they played the wrong games.

It could be worth alot more years later. And how does that make them elitist? The only game I sold and bought back was DarkCloud 2. I sold it cause I needed some spare cash for a trip I was going on but a few years later I searched for it and bought it back because it has one of the best mini-games I 've ever played and that was Spheda.
I hated my XBOX. I bought it to play halo with my best friend online, but I maybe played it for 2 weeks and then went back to playing TFC. Ended up selling my xbox to funcoland for super cheap and figured I'd never regret it.
just recently I picked up my first xbox 360. I've been also picking up old XBOX games such as otogi: myth of demons. little did I know that the 360 is not FULLY backwards compatible and both otogi games do not work. So I went to disc replay last week and picked myself up the limited edition halo XBOX for 20 bucks.

Really never gamed with it. The last game I played on it was Uncharted 2, and I only made it a little ways past the
Nepalese village
. I never went back to it after that. I primarily game on my PC and rarely turned on my PS3. I just like the PC interface better, and I like the feeling of being in control and having freedom. Consoles are just not my thing anymore. My favorite game ever: Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker. I sold every last piece of anything related to the Gamecube to make money to buy a new guitar (and we lefties have to pay like twice as much, and somehow I didn't think to pull WW out. Bought it again eventually for $15 though so no big deal.

I would argue that it's the elitist or the people that gets called elitists that are actually keeping their old games. It's the casuals that more or less throws out their old games when a new and "better" game gets released.
Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. Bought it first week it came out (I mowed a lot of yards for that!) then beat it a few times. Bought it years later for 10 bucks and loved it again.
Resident Evil 4. Bought on GC for 20 bucks, sold it cause I'd never play the GC again. Bought the Wii version for 10 bucks.
Think there was one or two more games but I just can't remember them right now.
Sold my Wii when the fan went out. I ended up buying another when the black Wii came out here in the states. I'm thinking about selling it because I just don't play it. If I do sell it I won't be buying another one.
